At award shows and after parties, she gets noticeably quiet in the company of beautiful artists.She also has an air of resentment around attractive women and on occasion, she has been observed sulking in a corner, with a drink in her hand, glaring at pretty women in a jealous manner.
She is extremely insecure about her appearance.
After the success of her last album, she unwisely went on a spending spree. She even hired someone to walk her dog and she became known as someone who threw her “new found” money around foolishly.

It’s obviously Fantasia, everything fits…altho she has her hood appeal, she can’t compare in the looks department to ppl like Alicia Keys or Beyonce, by Hollywood standards and one would assume that she would know this, she has had two cds out, the later did less than brilliantly in terms of sales, and she just recently landed ‘The Color Purple’, which must have considerably added to her bankroll, as nobody was really checking for her prior to that…anyone realize that it took almost 6 full months for another video from her latest cd to come out? Think about it…

I was thinking Fantasia also although, I’m not going to dis her appearance like some people on here. IMO she is not ugly. For those who are measuring her looks by the European beauty standard, you need to check yourselves because the woman ain’t of European decent. She has beautiful features and a real woman’s body.
Now my reason for thinking it could be Fantisia is that I recall her telling an interviewer about how she was self-concious of her facial features and skin tone when growing up so she may feel resentment when she’s in the presence of artists she is just as talented as but are getting more attention because they look a certain way.
