I really think it goes back to how the media portrays black women and white women. White women are lifted up as THE standard of beauty around the world. That’s why so many black, latina, asian, indian, women try to “mainstream” their physical features. India has an entire industry dedicated to keeping Indian women “light-skinned” b/c they are afraid of being “too dark”.

Okay I can feel the sistas on here who get mad or upset when they see black men with white women because some of these men, rich or poor, only seek out women who aren’t black. How do I know this to be true, is because I have a few friends and my brother who would never look twice at a black women or they would look and say she’s cute but she’s black and they too much drama.

However, me being latino and black I can say that not all people who date outside their race are doing so because of self hate. Both of my parents are very proud of heritage but they just happen to fall in love with someone of a different race and I’m for it, if it’s really love.

Now for the sister I have a question for you. Could it just be that when a black man gets rich or get some money they tend to move to the suburbs and they usually go out to ritzy places where it’s majority white. Could it be that so many black men who are rich date white women because that’s who they are surrounded around and who they live next to. I say this because I live around mostly hispanic and I usually date hispanic women and it’s not because I hate the sistas it’s just because that’s who I’m more around…..Just something to think about….So just stop hating you never know why the person is with another person just let them live their lives just as you’re living yours…..I’m out…

Almost every single interracial couple where the woman is black, around here i have seen is between a dark skin woman and a white man.
