Instead of getting their party on in Vegas, some black celebs hit up the 133rd Kentucky Derby down in Louisville. For the most part the same people from last year showed up and the ladies were looking fly sporting their big hats. It’s good to see our people looking good and having fun – with NO DRAMA!!
I was hoping I would see Gabrielle Union and Darren Sharper all hugged up again, but I guess that’s over and done with. Telling from the pic above it looks like she is getting at Mike. Speaking of Michael Jordan, someone needs to watch his ass. He has been shamelessly getting his mack on at various events. And why was O.J. Simpson’s ass down there? Random!

To those commenting that these people are over dressed just to see horses racing. It is a tradition at the Derby to be dressed to the nines, in days of olde attending the Derby was a sign that you were a part the elite in the community. So one way of showing this was by trying to one up another in your garments, needless to say, blacks were not a part of this tradition, our roles were as servants. This race is also responsible for “the Derby brim”.

I’m proud to be from Louisville, or how out of town-ers say it Looey-Ville. Derby was ok this year, could have been better, the weather sucked on Friday.

Blacks really aren’t wanted @ the Kentucky Derby. They are snickered at in regards to their efforts to try to fit in and act like they belong there. Everyone there knows they have no place there and they certainly aren’t wanted. They always look ridiculous. LOL
