She and Bey sound nothing alike and that’s a good thing. Actually I prefer Solange’s voice. It seems less rehearsed and relaxed. I especially liked the 2nd song.

Over the last few years I’ve noticed that Bey has this thing with being overly dramatic while singing. All the oohs, ahhs, and extra vocalizaiton doesn’t make a song better. Case in point Bey butchering Jill Scott’s “He loves Me”. The only person that comes to my mind with the dramatics and will always get a pass because she’s a SINGER is Ms. Labelle.
