KELLY ROWLAND’S “COMEBACK”
With the news of the week push-back of Kelly Rowland’s album, I was a little disappointed. But I guess the leaking of this new song, produced by Scott Storch kind of makes up for it. Although I don’t think that “Comeback” is a good representation of what the rest of the album is going to be like, I definitely see what Kelly was talking about as far as giving the album a more uptempo feel than “My Story.” Let’s hope that Kelly’s album doesn’t get pushed back again.

As much as I like her, she’s kind of boring and lacklustre as a solo artist. Why does she act all timid and repressed? It’s not that she doesn’t have a good voice (she sounds amazing on Bad Habit), but she just seems like she’s lacking that extra something.

I like this song. I believe this is the right direction for Kelly. However, I believe if pushing back her album means it will be better then I am all for it. Yes, know it has been pushed back already twice. I mean I heard all of the songs and there are only about 4 or 5 that will make ppl want to buy the album. I mean I thiink that the problem with Kelly is that she is just a singer. She is not a writer and probably has no creative contributions. THAT IS FINE!!!! There are many singers like this. Why would Matthew Knowles not invest the same time and effort he puts into Beyonce. I thought they had the father-daughter relationship like he has with Beyonce. I mean they were pratically raised together. You get the same people who work with Beyonce to work with Kelly or something. Maybe Kelly isn’t a good songwriter or picking the wrong ones. I just don’t see how this isn’t working out. Everybody knew Beyonce was going to be the most successful. But you would think Kelly would have some success too and not struggle as if she was some new unknown artist.
