The finale of American Idol aired last night and the outcome showed 17 yr. old Jordin Sparks from Arizona as this year’s Idol. Guests on the finale included past AI contestants Jennifer Hudson, Paris Bennett, and Ruben Studdard.

I really loved what Common did with Kanye West for “Be,” and I think that this time around they’ve got some good collaborations for the new album, “Finding Forever,” due out July 31. I have been a Common fan since I can remember, I really respect what he does. And then the song features Bilal? Although he doesn’t really show off his vocal ability, I think this is a great song.

This song reminds me of a lot of a musical or something. Of course it doesn’t fit with the overall feel of Beyonce’s album “B’Day,” but I think the song is pretty decent. Although the song is pretty old, I got a lot of e-mails about it - the only reason that I didn’t post it is because I don’t want people to suffer from Beyonce overload. But I do like this song.
