Kanye and Momma West made an appearance at Borders Bookstore yesterday for the book signing of “Raising Kanye: Life Lessons from the Mother of a Hip-Hop Superstar”. Written by his Mother and released just in time for Mommies Day, Donda West recalls raising Kanye as a single mom in Chicago, dealing with his early interest in porn videos and receiving the call that Kanye was at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after a near-fatal car accident in October 2002.
BashyBoo, had me on the floor with that one. I see where Kanye gets his looks from. The book has zero appeal to me.

The new cat always has a bit of momentum for album sells….then the sophmore jinx kicks in, which he successfully overcame…but the problem w/ kanye is that his mouth has already saturated his “brand”….so everything he’s doing up to this point really is going to be 20x harder because his image is tarnished. Well Meat:
Before the room got shut down, WE (meaning everybody)were trying to make ammends. The shut down was inevitable (sp – lol). We all seen and knew it coming. But before we could make the change, we were thrown out on our chins.
Blk DDS, never and I mean never had beef w/anybody in the room. I was there everyday bright and early, passing out hugs and kisses, whether ppl wanted them or not. We would also have daily prayer meetings, that was until the “users” came! They had been there all along, but then they got “bout it, bout it” and spread evil and hatred like AIDS in the blk community.
Now we came back in here, because for 1) WE LOVE THE LOOP, never stopped loving the loop, and for 2) We can be civil – at least most of us.
Now Meat you have proven that you’ve been in the chat for 1) how did you know that I had a “cartoon” as my avatar and 2) you followed us into the new chat b/c I only put up a real/newer pic up of myself recently and you keep bringing it up.
Now as far as us having beef in here, why would we want to keep beef going amongst us, we are trying to get past that and move on! We used to have fun in there. It passed the day away. Like “the chatroom user” said you do seem to be more worried and everybody else isn’t. What’s that all about?

I would not support this book I used to be a big fan of Kanye but because of his views against black women I will no longer support anything he say and to think at one time i thought he was an inteligent young man he sure did fool me lol.
