I also know how Ciara feels. I’m strong black woman, have a house, car and a job however there is a void there which is LOVE. Women we want long-term partner. Age does not matter when it comes to being married, who wants to be in there late 30’s or early 40’s starting a family.Halle Berry and Janet who put there careers first and now there in there 40’s wanting kids. Hopefully, Mr. Right will come along and sweep Ci-Ci off her feet.

I know what you feel brother but it doesn’t matter if I’m the exception or not. What matters is, do you wanna be part of what you call the exception? Do you wanna change the situation NO MATTER WHAT YOU SEE? I’ve had positive models for marriage but NOBODY for financial security, my parents were broke, sometimes couldn’t pay the light or water bills, yet I made something of myself. I started my own business. Well in my family, 80% of the people I know are broke. Did that stop me? NEVER. I educated myself and CHOSE my own successful role models (#1 is Sheila Johnson - America’s first Black female billionaire, among others), read their biographies and/or books, read books about business, but of course in a field that I love. I will not tell you what cause I want to remain anonymous. My brother is a well paid lawyer, from the same home. My point is, it doesn’t matter what your environment is, if you made up your mind that you’re going to be “the exception”, YOU WILL MAKE IT. That’s what faith is all about, strongly believe in something that you don’t see. I didn’t see money around me, but I believed I could have it, and I never wanted to be a golddigger, I wanted to stand on my own two feet. Also, my parents marriage don’t guarantee that mine will succeed, and didn’t even guarantee that I’d meet a good man. All I ever had was faith.

I think that Ciara is very pretty young lady and talented. I commend her on taking her time to get to know the man she wants to become involved with. In this day and age this is very smart. Also behaving like Kim takes away from your respectability. There is an old saying “You can’t make a tramp into a housewife”. Reggie may sleep with Kim for a while. I personally would not want him if he is sleeping with her cause she is a tramp. There is no telling how many guys she has been with. There is no telling how many women he has been with. They may be perfectly matched. Let them keep their sexual diseases between the two of them. Ciara a good man will come along he will not want a tramp but he will want a good woman.
