Someone who is 19, 20, 22… it’s different degrees of it. the most extreme is young people all they can think about is getting married. Every boyfriend or girlfriend they’re with mysteriously becomes their fiance in like 3 months! Relationships require compromise and basically giving up a part of who you are if you’re gonna be with someone else. You have to make yourself vulnerable to make another human being control your emotions of anger, frustration, hopelessness, and fufillment. All the things that make up a relationship. As a person individually, I’m not seeing this person as really secure, or goal oriented. They’re pretty simple for the most part. They don’t really get too deep, they’re not really mean, they’re not really anything. These types of individuals tend to be more insecure and wanting to fit in with the crowd. Not quite having their own mind, and their ok with it. Not saying it’s bad thing, it’s just how they are. Everyone can’t be strong minded…

On the other end, a strong minded person is gonna see few relationships in their life. And if they do, theirs alot of turmoil..arguing. They want the last word. They want the other person to do everything without them having to change anything about themselves. These people tend to be very successful in business. But their love life suffers. Alot of times these people stay single for along time. They are selfish, to say the least. They arnt willing to let someone else dominate their emotions and become needy to a particular person. You need both of these types of people in the world….

I’ll just stop there. cuz it breaks down even more than that, and I dont feel like typin that much. I just gave you the extremes of both sides. People vary in those two types but, I think ya’ll get the idea.

Real Talk, I will agree with you that many of us women today are confused about who we really are but most of that is because of the images the media portrays & the misconception that is more often that not associated with those images. I started my own business. Well in my family, 80% of the people I know are broke. Did that stop me? NEVER. I educated myself and CHOSE my own successful role models (#1 is Sheila Johnson - America’s first Black female billionaire, among others), read their biographies and/or books, read books about business, but of course in a field that I love. I will not tell you what cause I want to remain anonymous. My brother is a well paid lawyer, from the same home. My point is, it doesn’t matter what your environment is, if you made up your mind that you’re going to be “the exception”, YOU WILL MAKE IT. That’s what faith is all about, strongly believe in something that you don’t see. I didn’t see money around me, but I believed I could have it, and I never wanted to be a golddigger, I wanted to stand on my own two feet. Also, my parents marriage don’t guarantee that mine will succeed, and didn’t even guarantee that I’d meet a good man. All I ever had was faith.

I think that Ciara is very pretty young lady and talented. I commend her on taking her time to get to know the man she wants to become involved with. In this day and age this is very smart. Also behaving like Kim takes away from your respectability. There is an old saying “You can’t make a tramp into a housewife”. Reggie may sleep with Kim for a while. I personally would not want him if he is sleeping with her cause she is a tramp. There is no telling how many guys she has been with. There is no telling how many women he has been with. They may be perfectly matched. Let them keep their sexual diseases between the two of them. Ciara a good man will come along he will not want a tramp but he will want a good woman.
