Word is, Diddy may have assaulted choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson – his co-star in the hit show Making Of The Band.
According to the New York Daily News, celebrity guest judge Michael Bivens (formerly of the group New Edition) grabbed Laurie Ann while Diddy tried to hit her with a chair. The entire incident was reportedly caught on tape by MTV.

In the complaint filed with Manhattan cops May 11, Gibson said she got into a heated argument with Diddy and celebrity judge Michael Bivins during the April 25 filming of the MTV show at a branch of New York Sports Clubs in Greenwich Village.
Gibson said the two men started yelling and cursing at her when she told them the dancers had been given only a day to practice in order to see what they would do in a crunch.
Bivins then allegedly grabbed her while Diddy picked up a chair and threatened her. She said she broke free, tried to run and Bivins allegedly grabbed her once again. Then she left, the complaint stated.
Sources said Diddy fired her during the angry exchange – and at one point yelled for the MTV cameras to be shut off.

Word is, Combs has rejected Gibson’s claims and dismisses her accusations as an attempt to “take advantage” of his fame. His lawyer Benjamin Brafman tells the New York Daily News, “This is just another example of a false accusation by someone trying to take advantage of Sean’s success and celebrity status.” A spokesman for the NYPD confirmed a complaint had been made on May 11th, but no criminal activity had been found.
And if you don’t remember, earlier this year a man claimed Diddy assaulted him and his girlfriend at an Oscar Party. In a lawsuit filed, Diddy is said to have spit on the woman.
I saw the episode…Puffy is a fuckin punk, he’s just mad that Laurie steps up and speaks her mind. She’s hella sexy tho. Can’t wait to see someone beat the shit outta Puffy…I almost positive the name “Puffy” or being called/refered to as “Puffy” is a violation of Man Law.
I think that they both lost there Kool. I don’t think diddy and Mike B. would do that while those cameras were around. Also that chick fouled up diddy schedule. She should have been teaching those dudes those steps over the weekend, not in 8 hours; not enough time to learn that stuff. Remember its all about business at the end of the day; she messed up. I feel that this show is all about POWER and who has the most, there isn’t any respect at all from Sean to any of the performers. I was always taught that respect is given as well as recieved. I don’t think that anything was given to him as an artist, he definitely had to work for it and didn’t like what he had to go through to get where he is today. When you are on top, the same people you passed on your way you will also have to pass on your way down. Remember where you came from and show a little repsect and stop trying to show the world you are the boss, we all know that , it’s YOUR SHOW. I don’t approve of any man hitting a woman but this story has gotten so completely blown out of proportion. Ms. Diva acts like the show is hers. She knew what Diddy was all about when she agreed to work for him and that’s the key here. She agreed to work for him and if she don’t like what he has to say or how he acts then she needs to take her behind elsewhere and make it on her own. Since it’s Diddy’s show he can make any request he wants to and had she remembered he was her boss she would have done exactly what he asked and not made excuses. Then for those who saw the show you will remember Diddy did try to talk calmly to her. Ms. Diva got into his face then made the comment the show would be nothing without her, then she called the show “stupid”. Please! The girl was wrong and Bivens was right when he reminded her not to diss her boss. I would have fired her butt too and I’m a sista.
honestly laurie ann is acting like such a diva this season, he head is way too blown up and she needs to check her self. diddy didnt do anything and she was in the wrong in this situation.
When is Sean and others like himself in a position of power going to grow up and stop taking advantage of others. Is not about his money. It is about accountability. Be totally responsible for all of your actions, whomever you are. That’s the bottom line. I hope Laura does not back down from this matter and goes all the way with it. J-Lo left and so did Kim Porter. He needs to grow up and get it together.

this is such a sad lie i saw this episode and its not true. laurie tried to steal his watch but diddy said that her eyes are too small and she looks like a woman without a utarus. laurie got offended and started spitting in his bellybutton. one of the men tried desperately to get the spit out but it wasnt working then diddy got upset and puts laurie’s mouth on his bellybutton to suck the spit out. instead laurie went a little lower…. n_n and instead of spit she sucked milk or something like that out. diddy ordered she MUST swallow it or things will get messy. after she swallowed it she got upset cuz she was hungry but the milk made her calm down a bit.
This is America of course and just like the U.S. courts you guys are convicting the man “Diddy” before any evidence is produced about the assault. This is not about whether you like his stardom or not, but it lays precedent for other people to make similar allegations against successful people. I will not say whether it was done or not like that. In fact, I do remeber Bivens trying to only cool her down while discussing the ordeal with her. Rememer some women are spiteful and contemplate getting even at times. Laurie Ann could say anything out of her mouth just like anyone else. However, we all have to be aware that people with money are always victimized by people looking for a “piece of the action.”
I been watsching making tha band since it came out. I think Gibson was wrong for telling Diddy she’s the show like like she was making tha band or something. She was just teaching some dance moves she needed to go sit her ass down somewhere. Over the years she started to get more and more comfortable. U don’t suppose to talk back to the boss.
