Last time I saw her, she was in the Fat Joe video for What’s Love. That was five years ago. I used to really like this girl, when she was acting in In The House. I saw that crack video recently. This whole thing is truly sad.

I co-sign with #16. We do criticize our own and thats whats holding us back from progressing as people. I had a thing for Maia on In the House and thought she would eventually go onto better and brighter things. It is a shame. She has bipolar disorder and substance abuse is a huge part of how people affected with this illness cope. Her mom’s last book - 72 Hour Hold - was about this subject. It is a shame because her mother was her biggest advocate. And when bipolar people are in a manic state, there is very little they can do short of hospitalization and medication to help them. It is a shame whats happened to her, but she is not herself. I have a friend who lost his battle with this very serious disease. No laughing matter at all.

Remember that character that Alfie Woodard played in Holiday Heart (With Ving Rhames).
