According to the NY Post, Usher is set to fire his Momma anyday now:
Usher could have quite a Mother’s Day surprise for his mom, Jonetta Patton. The R&B superstar may be easing her out as his manager, according to insiders.
The muscle behind the putsch is said to be Usher’s fiancee, Tameka Foster.
“They definitely don’t get along,” one spy tells us. “Tameka came to Jonetta’s birthday on April 6. They hugged and posed for photos, but it was all for the cameras.”
The rift dates back to when Jonetta encouraged Usher to fire Tameka as his stylist. “Tameka went on the radio and took some shots at Jonetta,” says a source.
But Usher, 28, still liked Tameka, 38, and vice versa. In fact, she ended up leaving her husband for him. (Reps are denying she’s pregnant.)
“Tameka has a hold over him,” says one friend. “Nobody can figure it out. Some people think he may make Tameka his manager.”
Execs at Jive, Usher’s label, are said to be concerned. “They think Jonetta’s done an incredible job with his career. They’re encouraging her to take on Britney Spears.”
Now what the hell is Jonetta going to do with Britney Spears crazy behind? And how messed up would it be if Usher did fire his Mommy on Mother’s Day? Oh, there would be blood shed.

Blood is thicker than water; but they both can be bottled. Family does not always have you best interest, however my only concern is with Usher. Is he considering his best interests at hand? Or is he just in lust?
It’s obvious that his mother and this Tameka character do not get along however, it is his life and if he wants to mess that up then that’s his business. You gotta live and learn. As an adult man ,living on his own,Usher does have the right to make his own choices in regards to his personal life. His mom however is his manager (always has been,since d*amn near start of his career as a singer)! As a manager it is her job to try to protect his best interest as it pertains to his career. It can always be a lil tricky when you work so closely with family, because the emotions tend to run a lil higher in certain situations. I dont know how so many peopel such as Brandy,Beyonce,etc do it,but I suppose that it is in part associated with issue of trust because its family.
Now from what I know of the situation Ushers mom hired Tameka to become Ushers stylist! I know that everyone harps on the age difference, but I think that its really just a small part of the reason why she may dislike Tameka,if that .Furthermore Usher has dated an older woman before (Chili from TLC) and I didnt really hear much about his mom having an issue with her or her age. My guess is one of the 2 following reasons
#1 Tameka and Usher sort pf breached the whole professional aspect of their association by engaging in an secret affair (before people really knew) behind the scenes. Ushers mom hired her to be a stylist ,not a girlfriend or bed partner.
#2 Tameka was officially “on paper anyway” a “married woman,while engaging in this affair with Usher. She had a husband and 3 children I think. She left her husband ultimately for USHER!
#3 I dont think age issue is all that huge in comparison to the other 2 listed above ,but for sake of being fair and leaving no stone unturned Ill list it. Maybe it does play a part in his moms feelings about Tameka.If Usher is 28 and Tameka is 38 that is a 10 year age difference. Although Usher Im sure has had more than his fair share of all types of women throwing themselves at him over the years, he is still younger and may not be as “experienced” as Tameka.
