I really laughed when I first heard this song. Upon reading the title, I was wondering what could possibly be talked about in this song, what the lyrics could have possibly been. This Cornerboyz produced this song, which is a surprise to me, because I thought Timbaland, Danja and Polow Da Don were producing her album in its entirety. However, it’s too far before her release to even say that this will even appear on the album. But either way, check Keri Hilson on MySpace.

Justin Timberlake’s “Summer Love” is lighting up iTunes these days, I didn’t even realize that he was releasing it as a single. But I guess it would make sense to release right at the beginning of, you guessed it, summer! “Summer Love” was always one of my favorite songs from JT’s “FutureSex/LoveSounds,” and I’ll sure say one thing. He did a good job of making this album stretch.

Cassie really pulled a disappearing act on us. Not that anybody cared, but it was just absolutely laughable that this girl had the #1 single in the country for so long (with no display of any sort of vocal ability), with so much hype surrounding her debut album, and no grind time, then she just disappeared after all the backlash about her horrid live performances. I’m sure everyone remembers those. But Cassie has uploaded a brand new track to her MySpace page (I refuse to link it – she gets far too many hits), which sounds like leftovers from the first album.

Brooke Valetine is stuck, guys. Sorry. Her album, “Physical Education” was supposed to come out sometime last year, with the failed single “D-Girl,” with fellow Texan, Pimp C. The song didn’t get a great response, and all the material that’s leaked from the album so far has been less than stellar. I’m not sure what Brooke is going to do with thie project. It just seems like she’s not in a good place creatively or with her label. All this partying like a rock star and snapping is getting old. Rapidly.

I didn’t listen to Justin’s either because I can’t stand him and I have a feeling I’ve already heard the song before. As for Cassie, the song is very boring and lame. Im just saying some ppl think Sade cant sing, but I like her vocals and the smoothness. PPl think Cassie cant sing, but ppl love the hooks and the music. Its all about how you package it. Hell, Aaliyah couldnt sing, but ppl swore she was the hottest thing out there. She just had a good production team. I live in l.a. and when i was in the studio with where brooke was recording i saw her producer daija trying to molest a girl in a room instead of being in the studio with brooke. @UB no disrespect but i don’t agree at all. first of all, i’ve never heard ppl debate on whether or not sade can sing. yes, she’s not a belter but she sings on key and can actually hit notes. if you’ve watched cassie’s performances, the girl hardly ever hits her notes properly and her voice is too faint. when sade performs at least her voice resonates. sometimes it has this raspy thing going on to but cassie’s voice is completely bland. i know you’re not comparing them but u are making it seem like they are in the same situation and they aren’t

sometimes, you don’t have to have a great voice to have a good song, and i like this song. she has great production and just rides over the beat. and cassie’s album was pretty good for what it was, she knows her lane and she stays in it. she just needs to work on her live performances— her people need to hollar at ciara’s and ashanti’s people to give her some tips that’s all. infact, i really don’t even like going to some people concerts/live performances b/c it’s never how you imagine it and they always want to switch up the song or do something different, when i got to a concert i just want hear it like it is on my radio. i’ve been to some concerts and i’m like i could’ve stayed my a55 home and these are from “seasoned” artist and performers.

I don’t think anybody was hating on Brooke; it’s just that people know she can sing, but don’t understand why she is coming with all these wack songs. Everything she has came out with since her last album has been horrible except for “Dope Girl” that was okay. She should be glad her label aint promoting her right now, cause she aint ready. They saving her and extra flop off her recording record. She has the “look” and she can sing, all she needs is better songs and she will be okay.

Her voice did sound familiar now I finally figured it out she was on the In The Mix soundtrack for Usher. Yeah this woman has hits and she is a phenomenal songwriter.
