She is no longer the “First lady of the Ruff Ryders”. Her music will reflect her evolution. She is not rapping about “ain’t got no dough” like on her first CD, because she is beyond that.

Rap and Hip-hop is typically reflective of the environment, so her music will reflect where she is and where she is headed, not where she came from…. she’s already done that.

It also reminded of Kelis’ Bossy video at times. That video was so tacky looking and cheap. The girls with the tight tights gold and multi-colored pants looked right stank. Eve looked like a tranny. I didn’t like the song a while ago when I first heard it, I only listened to 10 seconds. But now I absolutely love the song now. Swiss was looking crazy in his shots but it was funny and he was the best part of the whole damn video. Those videos ho’s were looking…like VIDEO HO’s. I expected more from Eve. Oh and, what dance was Eve trying to do. Eve cannot dance, damn she looked more stiff than Rihanna in her videos. Eve is cool and the song is hot but I expected so much better.

But you think someone that’s been gone as long as she has and with the state of hip hop especially female hip hop, she’d try to do something a lil more deep. I like Eve and Lil Kim. The difference to me is Lil Kim seems more gully in her raps/video, and Eve seems smooth with hers, you know, more chilled and laid back. Both women are stars. Even Foxy. I just dont think rap is rap anymore, and everything is just all f’ed up! So you can expect any style from any artist; i dont think there’s a signature style for anyone cause artist tend to change with the weather nowadays.
