shes dooing something different and from Melinda this is what i expected, she really focuses on details like jewelries and makeup and lipstick i guess cuz shes a girl duh! cuz she did Beyonce’s KITTY CAT and she always likes it when things are so girly and feminine.

People grow as artists and as individuals in their own lives. Eve is a woman now, she still has her swaggar that makes her Eve, but she enjoys being feminine and being a girl. Why should she be HARD all the time? I like that she has that balance. I like this, it’s a fun video. I don’t see a “new” Eve or an “old” one, i see a woman growing up.

She is no longer the “First lady of the Ruff Ryders”. Her music will reflect her evolution. She is not rapping about “ain’t got no dough” like on her first CD, because she is beyond that.

Rap and Hip-hop is typically reflective of the environment, so her music will reflect where she is and where she is headed, not where she came from…. she’s already done that.

I like Eve and Lil Kim. The difference to me is Lil Kim seems more gully in her raps/video, and Eve seems smooth with hers, you know, more chilled and laid back. Both women are stars. Even Foxy. I just dont think rap is rap anymore, and everything is just all f’ed up! So you can expect any style from any artist; i dont think there’s a signature style for anyone cause artist tend to change with the weather nowadays. But everything said, i’m lovin this cut and video from Eve. She did her thing and the beat is banging.

But, back in the day a show called “SOUTH CENTRAL” came on for a little less than a season, it featured Larenze Tate, surprisingly an unknown Jennifer Lopez and a young girl named Tasha Scott. Now tasha played on a few things including “Parent Hood”, “Troops of Beverly Hills” and “Amen.” She was a very good singer who did Sprite and Coke commercials spinned off from the original Hi-Five commercial. Can you pull that commercial up by chance, I can’t find it ANYWHERE!!
