He’s being self-reflective, hence the isolation of the desert. His recklessness is addressed in the lyrics, but notice the expensive sports car spinning out of control, the car represents him. The girl being half naked represents his pull between WHAT’S RIGHT and WHAT FEELS RIGHT. He brings a artistic flare to his work. There is nothing brainless or basic about his work. Sadly that’s not the norm for hip hop….50 and CAMRON…ETC

I seen some comments dissin’ this video. whoever you are, you are ignorant. First off the song is hot and the video is hot. Yacub the Jeweler needs to do video? why? isn’t every damn video out there blinged out, carred out, rimmed out 20’s 24’s spinners, gold chains, diamonds on the damn thing. why does kanye need to do that same old lame shit. This video is a wake up call, a song for us: the regular working person. he talking about getting his money right, saying he’s not rich, but he knows he has the tools to get rich in his own way. the car doing a spinout in the dust, dust in the wind, think about it…all we are is dust in the mutha effin wind. even that sweet ass car is still just some dust in the wind of it all. man, look at the video again and see true art. or if you’re just one of those dumb asses that need cars and jewelry for a hot video then go fill your hollow brain with some other dumb rap. kanye did his thing on this one and sent a msg
