Robin Thicke’s technical third single from his latest album, “The Evolution of Robin Thicke” has a new video. I really wish more was done with Thicke’s project, because I really felt like it was one of the best albums to come out last year. “Can U Believe” is also one of my favorite songs on the album. This man really does know his music and the effect of his voice.

The video was sort of boring to me but I did like the tone…Robin is very good at what he does and he cant be compared to JT cuz Robin appeals to a more mature audience. JT is still stuck in the teeny bopper days and he will always have that crowd. Young and like Robin and I dig him.

@19, If you read the post correctly I said that they both are talented. I was making a point that they are two different singers; one dances and sings while the other just sings.I didn’t say that Robin shouldbe dancing cuz he shouldn’t, that would make him comparable to JT.

Black music doesn’t belong to Black folk exclusively, when will we stop trying to alienate ourselves trying to separate our selves from a country and culture that we help build. Can’t we be proud that we have influenced others??? Is it hard to believe that Robin isn’t trying to be Black, that he fell in love with rnb, soulful music, because it spoke to him??? he ain’t faking, he is sanging from his heart and that;s all he can do. If anything I wish Black rnb singers will start singing for the passion.
I had a ex from France (white and I’m black), who when he was around 8 years old put on a record that that had sample that he couldn’t get out of his head.He researched the sample and found out it was originally an old blues song, and every since that moment he becam obsessed with down home blues, gritty, grimy American Blues. can you guess what he is today? A blues musician, and more so than that I’ve never met a white man so passionate about the Black woman, black beauty, total respectful and honest , I think that is because he was on the outside looking in and could appreciate the thing that makes us different. Above all, music speaks to your heart, no matter who produces it.
To see people hate on Justin, Robin or any other white musician that is influenced by Black music is a disgrace and it is actually throwing us back instead of forward.
