Halle makes the dress look elegant and ole girl makes it look tacky with that tourquoise jewelry.
I had to do a double take cause it looked like Bar louie or whatever her name is has more curves than halle but it’s the way that she is standing that makes her look like that.
I don’t know why but turquoise jewelry has never really been cute to me.

Halle of course! IMO, accessories dnt always have to be the same colour as the outfit but those turquoise accessories are not workin!

The accessories are not even right for that dress though. If she had on a less formal gown maybe or even if the jewelry was subtle. But if the jewelry is the first thing I see before the gown, it’s too much.

I understand your point of view completely, I just think your thnking is outdated, a bit like not being able to wera white after labour day, or not wearing gold and silver, or maybe not being able to rock polka dots and stripes. Hmmmmm! seems to me the whole matching down to the wire thing is a little outdated. Especially when it adds a nice splash of colour. But hey…….I see your point.
many of us in america still associate Tourquois jewellery with Native Indians and a cultural thing when it really it has always held its own as a hot commodity outside of these her shores. BUt gin, it kinda is hard to thnk out the box for some people. Tourquoise will always represent Native Americans on the side of the road selling jewellery, like one comment above aligned it to……

Wow, I don’t understand why eveyone’s knocking the girl’s jewerly…I must be missing something. If you look @ both dresses from the neck down, there’s no doubt that blue/turquios jewerly gives that dress a certain “uhmf”.
To me the jewlery makes the dress look young and fun, plus she’s @ a film festival…no need too fancy. She did the right thing by adding the jewerly to give the dress a more casual look.
P.S. Mis matching is IN pick up any fashion mag and you’ll see.

Bar isnt rockin her hair right… thats the problem. I couldn’t figure out why it wasnt working. I actually like how she put the turqoise with the gold, The accessories made it pop.
Halle made this dress classy and elegant, I wish she wouldn’t have worn ozzy osbournes nail polish though.
So in conclusion
With the exception of maybe J-Lo (And I thought if they ever wore the same outfit) DOES ANYBODY rock it better than Halle

The dress is beautiful and definetly very sexy on both women. The turquoise colored accesories does bring out the dress however the type of accesory itself does not. Something more sublte would have been better.
