Personally…I am NOT a fan of the dress…period!

I don’t think the dress works on either woman…and here’s why:

As a former African-American model of 12 years…AND having lived in Europe for 10 years…as Wendy Williams would say…”a sista’ has L-I-V-E-D”! LOL!!!

Halle’s jewelry is too “matchy-matchy”, which is so 80’s! Plus, Halle’s dark nail polish “cheapens” the gown and overall look. I’m actually surprised at Halle. Her updo is NOT working for me and the color of the gown makes Halle looked “washed out”…it does nothing for her skin-tone. The color is too close to Halle’s skin; therefore, the jewelry needed to “POP”!!! Halle is an exceptional “fahionista” and I can’t recall a time that I’ve criticized her fashion sense, but this time was not one of Halle’s finest fashion moments…in my opinion.

Bar is a lovely woman in her own right…you can’t “hate” on that. I agree that the choice of jewlery is inappropriate; however, she DID attempt to provide a “punch of color”…which is more than Halle did. I’m not a fan of turquoise for myself; however, I do think turquoise is beautiful…but, definitely not right for this gown. I agree that Bar should have done something w/her hair…it looks tired & dried out. Maybe she was going for the “wind-swept” look, but her hair isn’t working…use a brush & comb!

Overall…I don’t think the gown compliments either woman. There’s something about the bust-line that does NOT enhance either woman’s figure…and we all KNOW that Halle’s body is “to die for”!!! I do think the color of the gown is beautiful, but I’m not a fan of the overall dress design.

Just remember…everything doesn’t have to “match”…that’s an outdated mentality. It’s good to mix it up and add punches of color…where appropriate. I think both women made an attempt…and both fell short.

Finally, Halle Berry is just a gorgeous woman. You can’t take that from her…no matter how many times you shake her up & throw her out there. The sista’ is doin’ tha damn thing…I give her the props she so deserves!!!

First off, learn how to write correctly. Secondly, I think had Samuel Jackson worn the dress against Bar (or any white female) you’d have voted for him, too. Really people…? Can you not be a bunch of dumb rear ends? Bar’s necklace wasn’t really the thing to wear, agreed. However, she looks lovely in the dress all the same. I think they both look beautiful, even though Halle’s pose was a little more “posed”, (Bar’s photo was snapped while moving.) I just wish these idiots posting in this wouldn’t let black/white play an issue instead of seeing them both as the gorgeous women they are. And I bet they look better than any of us. LOL

Bar killed it!! with her hair down… spectacular!!! Halle’s too plain! I like Halled Berry don’t get me wrong but this looks a lot better on Bar! halle’s version looks old!
