LOS ANGELES — Paris Hilton was released from jail early Thursday due to an unspecified medical condition after serving only three days of her sentence.

She was sent home with an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet and must remain there for 40 days, according to sheriffs spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Hilton checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood on Sunday night to begin serving a 23-day sentence for violating probation.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress surrendered to authorities with little fanfare after a surprise appearance at the MTV Movie Awards, where she worked the red carpet in a strapless designer gown.

The star of “The Simple Life” reality TV show pleaded no contest to a reckless-driving charge in January and was sentenced to 36 months’ probation. When she was later pulled over by the California Highway Patrol, Hilton was told that she was driving on a suspended license and signed a document acknowledging she was not to drive. She was then pulled over by sheriff’s deputies on Feb. 27 and charged with violating probation.

The hardest part about going to see my cousin in jail is me leaving and him staying.

Wondering if he is being harassed, raped or molested keeps me woke at nights

I don’t have any family in jail (small family) but I have a lot of family friends in jail (they might as well be family my Grandma adopted everybody) LOL.

My Little brother stayed in jail he’s 19 now and boy has he made a complete turn around. From about the 6th grade untill now he spent most of his time in and out of Juvenile Hall, he maybe was out a total of a month every year. That was the hardest thing on my mother. You would be suprised at some of the stuff they do to these kids in the Hall.
