  1. My prayers are with the Henry family.

As far as Bush……he’s a lost cause. Don’t even get me started on the war. Once the US got Saddam out of power, they should’ve rolled out.

Isaiah already knew his fate and is having a hard time accepting the fact that he’s now unemployed.

  2. Meat

It’s a sad to hear about the missing lady! It’s not even so much about white vs. black it’s more about the GREEN! If you got the money to make a big enough spectacle then the media outlets and everyone around the world is all over it….I’m going to send an email to everyone in my address book with this young lady’s pic, maybe someone will recognize her if enough people pass her pic along.

    BUSH IS A IDIOT..NUFF SAID!

Paris is not worth another damn comment.

GAS prices are absolutely insane. I remember when
you could get a gallon of reg gas for $1.00.

SMH @ Isaiah….What did you think? They were going to make an example of Imus and not get @ the first black ass to make a derogatory comment. They got you hook, line and sinker. You got enough checks Isaiah; you’re not your average unemployed black man. Oh Well!

Pray for you, pray for me!

In addition to the sad case of Stepha Henry, there’s another young sister, Felecia Moore who was on a Sr. High School trip to Ghana and within 24 hours – she was found dead in the hotel pool.

Mystery surrounds teen’s death on trip

18-year-old Felicia Moore found dead in a hotel pool

    Eyewitness News
(New Jersey – WABC, May 24, 2007) – The parents of a high school student who died on a class trip to Africa are demanding answers.

Their daughter, 18-year-old Felicia Moore, was found dead, tragically floating in the hotel pool last month.

The students from Teaneck High School were accompanied by chaperones when they traveled to Ghana on a two week goodwill trip.

Eyewitness News reporter Michelle Charlesworth is at Teaneck High School with the story.

This teen was such a good student. She had worked so hard at saving up so she could pay to go on this trip — a trip that cost $2800 dollars.

“My kid should have been coming home … she should be home with me not dead,” her father Douglas said.

Felicia Moore’s father and mother are beside themselves. Their only daughter had a lot of dreams — she wanted to see the world, write about it and even hope to attend Columbia Journalism School.

Within 24 hours into a school trip to bring school supplies to kids in Ghana she was unaccounted for. One of her classmates last saw Felicia at 10:30 p.m. the day they got there as she was leaving the pool.

But it would be 11 hours before one of the chaperones saw that her hotel room bed was still made and talked to her roommate.

“We need her voice to be heard by finding out what occurred, what happened to her,” her mother Lola said.

“I know for a fact that someone got her and put her in the pool to make it look like a drowning. Bottom line — I know my kid,” Douglas said.

But authorities have no cause of death and an autopsy is not back yet.

The parents lawyer is horrified that not one chaperone or student came back from Ghana early. She says no one has been properly interviewed in Ghana or New Jersey. And she wants the FBI on the case.

“There’s more to this story than what’s been told,” said the family’s attorney.

“Investigate the people that are taking your kids on a trip,” Douglas said.

The attorney is appealing to Ghana officials to allow the FBI to investigate this fully.

  6. It’s a dayum shame that I never even heard of Stepha Henry till just now. And it’s more shameful that they couldn’t even give this girl 60 seconds of airtime because they were more interested in covering Paris Herpes Hilton!

Who gives a $hit about Isaiah being pist? I am so sick and tired of hearing about that dumb $hit! He needs to GET OVER IT! He hasn’t heard? Karma is a b!tch.

The war still sickens me to my stomach. I remember when my ex joined the forces. It was about 4 years ago. When he told me he was my boyfriend at the time and I asked him “what the hell you smoking on? Are you serious? Don’t your dumb a$$ know Bush just got re-elected?” But he didn’t care. Hell, somebody need to care b/c Bush sure as hell don’t.

As far as the gas prices are concerned, (I hope I don’t get in trouble for this) but a well-known gas company has issued out an email to it’s employees telling them what to say when someone asks them about their “earnings”…..

    What to tell Your Friends…..
…when they ask about earnings. When friends or family members question you about our recently announced record earnings, what should you say? For starters, the oil and natural gas industry is arguabley the world’s largest industry. Its volumes and revenues are large, as are its costs of providing consumers with the enormous quantity of energy they need. Among those are the costs of finding and producing oil and natural gas and the costs of refining, distributing and marketiing them.

The energy consumed today is brought to us by investments made years or even decades ago. Oil and natural gas industry earnings are invested in new technology, new production and environmental and product quality improvements to meet tomorrow’s energy needs. The world’s energy needs are expected to be nearly 50 percent greater by the year 2030 than they are today.

Blah, blah, blah….sounds like a bunch of bull$hit to me. We all know why the gas prices are high as hell. Just like we know why our economy is in the shape its in today. I hope the Republicans and all the other dim-wit mofo’s who voted for Bush are happy with their decision.

good to see real talk going on right now… i will make sure i read all of the comments. i’m around 60 right now.

bush and the war… we already know what it is. i’m not even going to go into that.

the henry girl…why is it that i never heard about her yet (hmm, i wonder) ? that is a shame….

    keep on rockin’ prince!!!

paris… i don’t mind her but she deserves to be in jail.

the sopranos… ehh i don’t really care all that much about it

  8. @ 110 again, lol

When did I rant about the black woman supporting homosexuality? Notice I used the word “Many”. You’re probably one of that “Many’, or the wrong polarization of your mutiple personalties was reading that post, lol. Don’t try to make me complicit in your “everyone hates the black woman” nonsense philosophy. You destroy the MEN, you destroy the nation. Everyone knows that, and the Bible tells you the same (Ex 1:16). I wrote one sentence, which is my opinion. A rant is nonsensical. If what I wrote is nonsensical then you’d be a fool to respond. The fact of the matter is that you’re only responding to what I wrote because you saw other people agreeing with me and you feel compelled to counter me because many black women have been trained to come against strong black men. You have no counter.

I’ve seen black devils also. They’re the ones that don’t understand the Lord’s Word or the world that they’re living in so they try to perpetuate the confusion. They HATE order. There are many scriptures about those of our people that love Satan (Jer 5:26, Hos 4:6, etc). First off understand that there is a difference between evil and the devil. Evil is created by the Lord to test and prove the righteous (I Sam 2:6, Prov 16:4, Isa 45:7, Amos 3:6). The devil does not create evil, he creates CONFUSION through craft and trickery (Job 1:6-12, Matt 4:1-11, I Cor 14:33). The devil is the one controlling these theology schools, sending these pastors out to speak lies to the people because that’s what they want to hear….what makes them feel good (Isa 30:10, Jer 5:31, 8:11, 23rd chap., etc.). The scripture is plain to the men and women that are chosen. Now if you’re trying to “teach” me how to read the Lord’s Word (which is fine because everyone needs to be taught) you should know what you’re talking about. You don’t. If I’m “taking it out of context” then put it in context for me. You should strengthen me or anyone else that you try to teach with KNOWLEDGE OF THE SCRIPTURES, not your own philosophy (Col 2:8). That causes a person to put their trust in a man, which is death (Jer 17:5). The Lord said to teach his Word with his Word (Isa 8:20, I Pet 4:11).

  9. @114

America is a capitalist regime. Your self-worth as a person, according to capitalism, is monetarily based. So thusly, why would you think that this Stepha Henry girl would get the same coverage as Paris Hilton, who is low level Illuminati. You probably love America so not only would you not expect them to cover it the same, you SHOULD not because if you love this land you shouldn’t have a problem with how they get down. In regards to the bussing and civil rights issue, and how it was coordinated by the U.S govt. in consort with Masonic blacks, that’s a whole other topic that has nothing to do with this discussion.

Sis in regards to the Italian mobster issue, I’m not concerned with “America”. I’m concerned with my people. If me being concerned with black people first annoys you and others, I don’t know what to tell you. Why do black people always feel the need to speak for those that don’t give a damn about them? What fair play are you looking for? They have to legislate laws forcing themselves to hire blacks because they know their own nature. That should tell you all you need to know. No disrespect to you but I relate everything to the Lord’s Word to the best of my ability, not you or any one else’s opinion. The majority of black people are vain, stubborn, and obstinate. They have no real plan but they still wish to be heard in order to cause confusion. That’s why most blacks either disagree with someone like me or they agree grudgingly (like #64). They hate order.

  10. Dear Judah:

“You probably love America so not only would you not expect them to cover it the same, you SHOULD not because if you love this land you shouldn’t have a problem with how they get down.” (Ohhhh but I do…)

Judah, as I have told you before, I consider you quite intelligent and I have much respect for your point of view. However, please recognize that the above statement is nothing more than your opinion, no matter how well versed.

You are correct, I do love America. American’s have a long history of FIGHTING for their RIGHTS so LAWS can be changed. Sure, it’s easy to say, they have the winning hand, just let them play it. But to me, THAT WOULD BE UN-American. I’d rather die fighting than to just be ALLOWED to live as a part-time Amercian with limited rights. I pay taxes, I’m not trying 2 ride the back of the bus NO-MORE.

Illuminati or not, IMO, Stepha DESERVED just as much airtime as Paris if not more. The reason she did not get it has as much to do with money as it does with race. I recognize that. Still, FAIR IS FAIR and if I’m silent about it, I am saying that it is ok. And
    It is not.

Perhaps I’m sensitive to the issue because I have strong feelings about justice, fair play and equal rights. Perhaps I’m sensitive because she was a black woman. Perhaps I’m sensitve because about it because it
    could have been me.

    Peace and Blessings Bro Judah

    Kind.

    @ #68

NEGRO just means means black in Spanish. Black, Noire, Negro, African American, Afro-American, whatever.. We are calling ourselves N*gg*rs, so I don’t see why calling ourselves negro (black) is so offensive????????? Go figure..
It doesn’t change the problems we have as a community and a diaspora.

Vanity Fair is bringing to LIGHT a very serious issue that threatens the existence of our people.. Genocide, orphans, AIDS, etc.. When will black people ever look at the bigger picture? Using this Vanity Fair issue to bring the other issue to the forefront is all good, but let us focus on the real big issue..

Instead of Puffy and the gang using their celebrity to promote MOET and VERSACE, why aren’t they using their voices to reach out to Africa’s youth and America’s youth to create unity and self-sufficent attitudes?

    It is just sad!

  12. PCarter

This is so sad. I live in Upstate NY and even not so far away in same state, not heard. Poor thing. I hope she is found safe, though the chances are slim.

DID THEY EVER FIND CHANEL PETRA NIXON’S KILLER? I NEVER EVEN KNEW THE GIRL AND I STILL REMEMBER HER NAME.

  13. PCarter

Only 132 posts about real world issues but a Beyonce post gets 600? SMDH at black people.

  14. ethiopian_princess

Everything is more important than a missing black woman.

If you’re not a young, pretty white (preferrably blonde hair and blue eyes) female from an upper middle class or greater family, too bad. Do you know that there are more males reported missing than females, but can you even name one of them? The last one that was close to high profile were the two boys somewhere in the mid west and the one was kidnapped for like four years. That is amazing, yet the media has really not followed that story in any degree comparable to Elizabeth Smart’s return. I can name about 10 missing young, pretty white females. I could even tell you their parents’ names. Other than that, it’s two missing black females (Stepha and Rilya Wilson).

  15. ethiopian_princess

to #58, this is the land of free speech. Isaiah had the right to say what he did and ABC, a company not owned by the government, can choose to fire a person for it. If he worked for Pfizer or McDonald’s in any state or city in which LGBT people are a protected class, he would have been gone a loooong time ago. Worst of all, he called someone that IN the work place. There wouldn’t even be a discussion. Just pack your shit and go. It’s a situation that affects the reputation of the company and may also result in a big giant lawsuit.

you can say what you want to, and since everyone can say what they want, we have the react. when advertisers pulled from Imus’ show, they were exercising their right not to be associated with all that drama. it’s the same thing.
