I agree with you 100%. The bottom line is that none of us were there, so we don’t know how it really went down. That comment that he made was the only thing that he said about the situation. @82 Hospitals do not test men before they sign a birth certificate. If you are married you are already presumed to be the father and if you are not married you are the father once you sign that birth certificate.

I’m not an expert on your state laws. But where my daughter was born, no guy is allowed to go on the birth certificate without first being tested. You can’t even add a parents name to a birth certificate, later on after the birth if the father isn’t present, until that person has been tested.

Trust me, I’ve went through it and I’m still kind of going through it. I don’t type anything other than facts. Depending on your state’s laws and the year you had your kid(s), things may have changed.

In MS where my daughter was born her father was not allowed to sign the birth certificate b/c we were not married and her last name was my last name - if I had put her in his last name he could sign after all that was taken care of. He did not sign til she was year old - after we got evreything settled and HE never asked for a DNA test but they offered him one during the child support hearing.

I’m not jumping for joy that it’s his, I actually feel sorry for Mel B.(mostly for the baby) that she didn’t take the time to get to know him and figure out the kind of person he was. Why was Eddie Murphy wrong, if the bitch is a ho tan he did what was needed.

How can the blame be placed solely and squarely on Eddies’s shoulders? I think a lot of the people who are responding so strongly against him may be transfering some powerful emotions they may have from their personals situations. But here’s the thing, Eddie is not your child’s father and he and Scary’s situation is not your own. #1 He never said that she was sexually indiscriminant. He merely told a dutch news show that it had not been established whether or not he is the father. At that time this was true.
#2 How can some of you say with such assurance what the hell happened in their relationship or be so certain exactly who Scary was sleeping with and when she was sleeping with them. That’s a whole lot of knowing for people who don’t even know these people much less their personal habits. If everyone was this knowledgeable about their own relationships this world would be a better place.

#3 How did Eddie make her sound like a slut? I didn’t get that from his comments. Besides, Scary seemed a lot less concerned with how she was looking in public b/c I’ve seen her posted up on dates on this very website with at least two different men since her baby was born. Now I’m not saying that constitutes sexually provacative behavior but at the very least how do you find so much time for dating when you have a new born at home?
