Girl aint it the truth. What I don’t like about BET is that they are a poor excuse of a black network. Showing videos by white artists who do R&B and hip-hop music and nominating them isn’t celebrating the black race. That’s what MTV is for. It should be a strict rule that you cannot attend the BET Awards or show up on 106th N Park if you are not black or of black descent. I also think that white people working back stage is very unecessary. Give our struggling black college graduates the jobs. For some reason I think E is reporting on it because hip-hop is popular amongst the white race. I also heard that there are many white folks working for the network. Before there were only black folks running the network.

I watch it every year though and some performances are hot and some are so damn ghetto. They better step it up this year.

On a different note, when I ‘DID’ have cable and ‘DID’ watch these type shows, I absolutely LOVED the Red Carpet shows probably more than the awards altogether! In a sense, you get up close and personal with the stars and sometimes, most times they are put on the spot with questions asked them by the interviewers. Very interesting indeed.

According to Wendy Williams - JHud and Jennifer Holiday are performing together. Im glad that BET is really starting to come up as a network.
