Lloyd officially won me over as a fan during his rendition of “Get It, Shawty!” on the BET Awards Pre-Show. I really dug his stage presence, I think he really connected with the audience. When being interviewed, Lloyd discussed a remix of his hit single featuring Lil’ Wayne (with whom he’s worked before), Big Boi and Chamillionaire. Here’s the finished product. Although I was expecting some different production and new vocal arrangement, the remix is still fun and I think it’ll be good for radio.

Anyways, to me Lloyd is one of those artist who’s MUSIC make you like HIM. Not vise versa. I don’t care much for this song. The original version made me buy the CD, then once the video was made I absolutely hated the song lol.

I have to admit, I’ve liked his songs as of late and he isn’t a bad singer, either. I just heard the remix on the radio a few days and again today and IMO a remix wasn’t needed for this song. Some songs are better left in their original form.

I love Chamillionaire and his voice, but like I said his voice is very animated. Has anyone else noticed that? His verse didn’t match the beat. It sounded like when a DJ takes a verse from a rapper/singer’s song and tries to mix it on a different beat.
I love Get It Shawty but I believe it’s time for a new single.
Oh and for the tattoos, I think it’s getting so overrated and all them on Lloyd is so unnecessary.

I guess I am one of the few that finds Lloyd attractive. I think he’s sexy, and I like the way he carries himself. His hair is beautiful, and although his nose isn’t his best feature, I think he’s cute in spite of it. Like someone else said, his nose is no worse than Usher’s, that’s for sure! Do you Lloyd!
