Hip Hop artists make it rain of this years Forbes 100 list , which lists the world’s most powerful and well paid actors, musicians, and athletes.
Jigga man was one of the folks to make it in the top ten ranking at number 9 with a reported pay of $83 million dollars – would you believe he makes more than Donald Trump and Steven Spielberg?
Diddy was also on the list – not as high, but he is still getting paid – with $23 million. 50 Cent, who is known to be the annoying smart business man tied with Kobe Bryant with a pay of $33 million, but thats not counting the $100 million he has just made off his vitamin water.
Other stars that make the list include former rapper turned movie star Will Smith, ranked at 57 with $31 million, basketball star and new daddy Lebron James with a pay of $27 million, and of course the top runner of the Forbes list – Oprah who ranked at number 1 with $260 million.
I know Jigga & Diddy have been on that list a few times, no?

And i guess it dont pay spending your own money to try to resurrect that project making videos funded with your own pocket to give the appearance of success. Because with the cd’s, and all the commercials and endorsement deals and headlining she’s been doing, there’s no other reason she should not have made this list. Methodology: Net worth estimates were arrived at by tallying the total earnings, including salaries, record sales, tours, merchandising and royalties over the course of a career. When relevant, we included real estate holdings, shares and other assets. A conservative rate of return was applied, less taxes and agent fees. The list is limited to those female celebrities active in their professional lives.
So as you see, I’m not surprised she’s absent from the list. Since musicians primarily make money from touring (and she’s not done til Sept 07) they probably couldn’t estimate her earnings. She also just recently purchased her first home so real estate probably couldn’t be included either. I’m sure she’ll probably make next years list.
OK I’m happy they made it, Hip Hop dudes has broken into that exclusive rich negro club with the Michael Jordans, Robert Johnsons, Bill Cosbys and Oprah is the president of that club. And their guidelines will be to play by the rules and don’t piss off white folks or they’ll be kicked out of the club like Michael Jackson was. As much as I love 50…she is right!!! He owns 10% of the FORMULA 50 flavor of Vitamin water, NOT the whole company. People love to speculate, but my man 50 never CONFIRMED nor DENIED the roomer so I gave him a little time to, started looking into more reliable sources for the answers and just like I thought, he gets 100 million and after taxes it will probably be more like 65 or 70 mill
