What’s so sad is that in order for my child to listen to “upbeat” age appropiate music I have to turn to the white pop artists which really pisses me off. Overall, I actually like it. She really should showcase her vocals a little more, though, because she actually CAN sing (she does some pretty impressive adlibs towards the end), but you really can’t tell with this song. This song is just a hair’s width shy of being a hit, though. I can’t describe it, but it’s missing that SOMETHING.

Just a little more polish and better producers, and I definitely think Raven has what it takes to make a good album.

And you always gotta love her for being WHO SHE IS, 24/7.

It’s cool, and her sound has matured…

Raven actually has mad range as a vocalist, but she wants to make a hit this time around. The trend now is simple, and repetitive chord progressions through the verses. But I like the song. She got the dough to be working with bigger name producers, come a little harder Raven.

@ CarolinaWhenYouSpeak, I feel ya! I listened to this song and I thought to myself “HELL NAW”. I could’nt listen to something like this. But on the other hand, my two daughers would love it!
