Not feelin the idea of glorifying Gangsters and Drug dealers. Not feelin the idea of him having a white looking wife (even if she is mixed, I’ve never seen him cast with a woman that looks anything like his wife in real life). I agree that Denzel is a great actor, but it’s clear to me, that he plays these roles because nothing else is out there sellin at the box office, that presents a different image of black people other than the negative. It scares me to think that America is more comfortable seeing black people killing each other, being violent, and hating the image of black women with darker skin. White supremecist, capitalistic, sexist, are just some of the many terms to define it. This is why I seriously have started to take a look at the media on all levels and what they are perpetuating as the norm. The more I see it, the more I realize just how f**ked up this world is for black people (especially the western world) and how many of us have been brainwashed into believing images like this are harmless. They are subconciously debilitating people! WAKE THE F**K UP!
