T.I. candidly discusses his relationship with the mother of his kids, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, in the August issue of Vibe, which is set to hit newsstands next week. [ SEE VIBE MAG SCANS HERE ]
The Atlanta rapper confirmed to MTV News in May that he and Cottle had broken up, but the couple have since reconciled and, as T.I. put it in the Vibe interview,
“She means to me what my mother meant to me as a kid. Somebody that you know is consistently there, has your best interests at heart, and if ain’t nobody else there in the world, [she] gon’ be there. [Tiny’s] filled that spot in my life.”

Amy Winehouse releases a 4th video from her critically acclaimed “Back to Black.” This is actually one of my favorite songs on the album. The interesting thing about this video is that it looks a lot different than all the others, but still keeps its dark edge like the rest of her videos.

Actress/ Singer Eve who was caught drink-driving back in April pleaded no contest via her lawyer in court.
Blair Berk (her lawyer) entered the plea and said she admitted to driving with a .08 percent blood alcohol level or higher when she crashed her car on April 26. Eve has been ordered to wear an alcohol monitoring ankle bracelet for 45 days and will pay $1,400 in fines. The singer will also have to attend an alcohol education program plus a 36 month informal probation.

They say the wife is the last to know. This is the case with a popular black female singer. Not only is her husband cheating with women off the Internet, he’s using her money to lavish them with gifts.
While the singer works like a dog to put food on the table, her loser non-working husband lounges on the computer, posting ads on dating services when he’s not watching Oprah, stretched out, with his feet propped up, clutching the remote in one hand and holding a can of beer with the other hand. He’s real trife.
He’s pimping her big time, she’s his instant cash flow and meal ticket and she doesn’t seem to care despite family members questioning her about his lack of motivation.
He’s so sorry, he can’t even order out or cook for her when she returns home from a local performance. He expects her to cook dinner for him regardless of how draining her performance might have been.
He tells his boys, he hit the lotto. He never expected to be retired from doing anything while still in his 30’s.
