Tony Thompson, the lead singer of 90’s group Hi-Five was found dead yesterday (June 1) in his hometown of Waco, Texas outside of an apartment complex around 10:00 pm.
The cause of death has not been confirmed, but sources say he died of a drug overdose.
ABOUT TONY:
Thompson and Hi-Five hit #1 with 1990’s “I Like The Way (The Kissing Game),” which was produced by R&B/Hip-Hop producer Teddy Riley and taken from the group’s debut, Hi-Five.
The album also produced singles like “I Can’t Wait Another Minute” and “I Just Can’t Handle It.”
Hi-Five broke up around 1994 but reunited and released a new album The Return in 2006 on Thompson’s record label N’Depth. READ MORE

We haven’t done a hot or not post in a while, reviewing some new faces in music so, here’s another one for you guys. Meet Kat DeLuna, a Dominican 19yr. old coming out of The Bronx, NY. She hitting the radios hard with her first single “Whine Up”, which features Elephant Man and Ivy Queen. Kat is a multi-talented artist with her music having hints of Hip hop, R&B, Merengue, Pop, and Spanish Jazz, all in both English and Spanish. She even received the approval of R. Kelly who called the young singer a “prodigy”…
