This judge is obviously trying to make an example out of her. The normal jail time (if ANY) in that jurisdiction was 5 days for driving with a suspended license while on probation. He was obviously annoyed with her & wanted to send a message.
Secondly, had the Sheriff’s department gone about this the RIGHT way it is very likely she would still be at home.
I don’t, by any means, condone driving under the influence or driving while intoxicated, but this was a traffic violation of driving with a suspended license.
Unfortunately, this is NOT over. There is NO way that she will be in jail for 45 days!
