Damon Dash and his wife Rachel Roy have been an item for awhile now. They were married back in 2005 and even have a daughter named Ava together.
I’m guessing there is trouble in “paradise” because the NY Post is reporting the couple were involved in a VERBAL argument late last week. Read on:
“They got into a screaming match,” said a witness. Dash, who co-owns the club, was spotted at Cipriani Downtown before hitting the after-party for Lorraine Schwartz around midnight. “He was in an altered state,” said our spy. “Rachel was curled up on a couch with another guy, and when he saw her he flipped and stormed out.” Roy stayed put, but Dash headed back to Cipriani. A rep for Dash says, “There’s no trouble.”

TAMMY, there are really beautiful and solid marriages, don’t believe the hype. It’s not “most marriages” that fail, it’s half of them. That means half of them succeed. And many of these stars are caught up with either money or physical beauty or both, they try to look good instead of being truly committed. And it’s funny how the media love to promote marriages that fail but never talk about the successful ones. Don’t get distracted by “the world”, don’t live by what you “see and hear”, that’s why only crap manifest in so many folks’ lives, they don’t follow their vision (not just career wise, I’m talking about all the areas of your life), they get distracted by the world and it’s a never ending cycle. Some folks get married “already knowing it’s gonna fail”, how you gonna start something you don’t even believe in? Foolishness.

What Level are you refering to Angel? Dame Dash is very wealthy (albeit a little too arrogant in the past for my liking). But at least he is MARRIED with KIDS to a beautiful woman, she too is doing nicely and he stays reinventing himself.

Damon is 35 years old and no he never cheated on Aaliyah with Rachel. The child was before he went with Aaliyah. Actually he broke up with Rachel to date Aaliyah. Her loved Liyah with all his heart and he showed it everytime he was with her plus he talked about her so much. He never and never would of cheated on someone so beautiful like Aaliyah for that who he has now. Rachel is cute but……..oh please.

From every situation I saw Dame in as far as pictures …. when he was with Aaliyah, he seemed so happy and content with her by his side. Of course Aaliyah was such a sweet spirit, she had an effect on people that was so calming. Anyone that can turn DMX into a huggy, loving person on film.. and make him cry on a whim, is a powerful influence….
Every picture I have seen with Dame and his wife, it seems like he is just there because he has to be. No real body language that he is drawn to her in the way he would always be wrapped around Aaliyah.
I really do think Rachel is Dames second fiddle, only because of Aaliyah’s passing.

You are a little too nonchalant with this comment especially the “just because you have a child with someone”. This is already rampant in the black community. Perhaps if we instilled certain values (you get a female pregnant you marry her) then we wouldn’t have so many struggling single mothers out there with 2 or more different baby daddies.
