“oatsuzn,” please know what ur talking about before u speak, although for the most part u make sense, this post isn’t about the weight debate…raven looks good and healthy which is always a plus, no man would want a woman who spends way more time then they do in the gym, no guy wants a woman who looks more muscular then they do, not its not always the case cuz some men do but speaking from experince i was super skinny in high school, but i was at a healthy weight, i didn’t have a big booty and i was apart of the itty bitty titty committee…guys always went for the thicker chics and time i got the thickness, i was made out to be big…now i am by far not as big as raven was but im not skinny either, and i don’t pig out at the table i eat small partions and i occassionally work out when my schedule permits but men and women have serious issues, espiecally black people our ideal of what’s normal is wacked and i think it’s because for the most part we look at other races thinking thats what we’re supposed to look like, back in the days, way in the homeland, it wasn’t a problem for women to be big and was for them who were super skinny, everybody has different shapes and sizes and as long as they are healthy then it shouldn’t matter what size they are, for all u know people like monique might work out and eat healthy but thats just a part of their genetic makeup, even when oprah was big she often yoyoed in her weight because all she did was diet, it’s when u start doing unhealthy things to obtain a certain “norm” women today have to live up to, people like lindsey, britney and paris probably don’t work out often because they like every celebrity have busy schedules, some celebs make it work but others use drugs and unhealthy ways to keep their shape…it seems that too many people are hating on raven but for the most part she could be doing healthy things to lose weight…i hate to say it but as much negative feedback people give, its no wonder why raven hasn’t taken unhealthy means to look like hollywood’s norm

I love her as a role model and I think she looks beautiful, BUT you cant rest on just that if your gonna try to tackle an older audience. I just heard two new songs off of her new unreleased album and it sounds like garbage! It sounded like a horrid disney version of ashanti’s “Here’s my number babe” with that seven guy.

Plus she doesnt have to voice for a record. Just because you can “sing” a little doesnt mean you translate well into R&B or pop. Ciara can be successful with limited vocals because she can make a track sound good, even if there are no vocal olympics going on in the song.

Just my opinion…..I have allways thought Raven was a cutie pie! She did have a weight problem…. IMO her breast started to grow so quickly and big!(which IMO made her look that much heavier) I think its from the hormones the FDA approves for the cattle,poultry and pork indusrties. And genetics may play a small part but also her choice of foods must be taken into account. I am not hating on her. She is obviously a smart young woman and has good parents. She has been an actress since like 3 years old, she is a millionaire(her parents most likely invested and did not spend all the child’s money!) and I have never heard of her being in any crazy hollywood foolishness. And these pictures show a more healthy Raven and a young woman coming out of that akward teenage stage! So, I say keep up the good work Ms. Raven!

Raven is a very pretty girl and she did lose alot of weight Im proud of here because alot of people struggle with there weight, yea she has the money to get smaller but she hasn’t been on screen in a while so I think she did this on her own with some help from a personal trainer, but she still had the will power to get it dont, and that’s what these young girls that struggling with their weight need and she does look very grown up and it fits her wonderfully.
