This is the T.I. that I like. Several songs from his upcoming, “T.I. vs T.I.P.” have leaked, but not the full album. After hearing a few songs, I have to admit, that it’s kind of jogged my excitement for T.I.’s project, because I was a little worried at first. Although people really liked “Big Things Poppin’” off the strength, it just didn’t have that extra thing that a T.I. single has always had for me and then on top of that, I wasn’t really digging the Wyclef joint. We’ll see.
Q. Amey – Closer (full) – download
It’s really unfortunate to me that there haven’t been any updates on this project, nor any new singles since “Forever Girl” (produced by the Corner Boyz) dropped last summer. “Closer,” which is a B. Cox joint (shout out to my homie!) would be a really nice choice for a single. It is radio friendly and it would really go in the club, I think. I hope Blackground/Universal (?) can find it in their heart to give my homie some play.
Kelly Rowland – Love (full) – download
This is one of the few tracks from the forth-coming “Ms. Kelly” album that did not leak. I actually like this song a lot, it’s a really nice midtempo track for Kelly. And not only that, but the production is tight and her voice really just rides this really nicely. It makes you just want to nod your head and groove. Even though the content is a little deep, it sounds like some music that you’ll hear at a house party with the homies and just bounce a little bit.
Ne-Yo feat. Mary J. Blige – Do You (Remix) (full) – download
I got a lot of e-mails about this song, so here it goes. Ne-Yo’s album goes, but as most of you know, I have never really been a fan of his voice. Ne-Yo can write the heck out of a song, I just think I’d rather hear someone else singing them. Mary J. Blige sounds nice on this song, though, I must admit. It’s random though that she’s on the remix. I think that Mary is about to drop another album, though. So it’s cool that she’s keep her voice on radio, because I heard this song a couple of times the other day.

I heard the T.I. song yesterday and I can say Jigga saved his ass because the song is garbage.I don’t know what he thinking this time around because really he confusing the hell out of me.Can’t say I be purchasing this album.Too much hype surrounding him.

Love Kelly and Ne-yo songs they are two of my favorite artists. Hate on Ne-yo if you must, but when its time for him to step up vocally he does. Love that getmebodied song, definately gets you dancing.
