The video concept was similar to Thriller and Blade…but every single video that you see out now looks exactly the same as well. You see rappers sitting outside a car and a female dancing and bending over. Next you have the girl who’s man did her wrong and she’s throwing him out and ripping up his clothes, she’s putting him out, or he’s got to go.

Vampire thing….personally I wouldn’t say that was the best choice. I like the whole dark feel of it. I doubt that he ever thought about the demonic side of it. However someone listening to vulgar language, lying, and etc is just as bad. Just you watching a movie with violence is a message or watching a video with people holding up liquor bottles and a female dancing on a pole, guy, or car isn’t any better. Correct me if I’m wrong. Uggggrh! When I first heard this song on the radio, I thought it was a hot song and it is. But shit, this whole theme was not suited for this song at all. He needs to think this one over. If you listen to Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater,” that is a song suited for this theme. And what is up with the bridge part when he is flying up to the sky with devil eyes? Is he like a demon going to heaven or something? Anyway, HOT song, for the concept theory, plus it’s been used a trillion times already.

But I do not think that the video was really focused and made around the demonic theme but rather it flowed with the dark theme of the video. I respect Chris Brown for the artist he is and i actually like some of his music but he is way over rated! Dancing, he has a lot of energy without any control!!He’s very wild and sloppy(watch him dance carefully compared to his background dancers!)..This video is not original, all he did was take the whole “Thriller” and “Blade” video and movie, cut it down and made it in to a small video which doesnt make any since with the song(dont get me wrong, the video is hott!!) It was just TOOO out of the box. This would of been ORIGINAL if we watched the video and couldnt compare it to any other VIDEO as how we did when watching Michael’s “Thriller”. call me a hater but this kid is garbage including that so called remix of “umbrella”… How you go from “umbrella” to “cinderella”? I am a producer here in LA and I can tell you that I have buddies that worked on this album as engineers. They told me he couldnt keep a tune to save his life and they autotuned most of it and focused on the music and beats which were produced huge studios anyway. If you listen to his voice you can hear the “chorusy” effects and the kind of robotic quality to it..Yeah…he aint no R. Kelly. I worked with that man and he is the truth! This is overproduced autotuned crap at its worst. Cool Vid tho. lol
