“Stronger,” which samples from one of my favorite Daft Punk songs, is pretty interesting. I’m sure that Kanye thinks that this will garner him some type of award next year. Cassie’s in the video as well, doing what she does best, looking nice.

@4: Glad someone said it, when he’s producing his own records why does he always have to completely steal another song? I’m not against samples when they’re used creatively and I’ve heard Kanye do so before on plenty of other artists tracks he’s produced on but on his own all he seems to do is bite other people’s songs. Damn, he may as well go the full nine yards and cover the song itself…
Don’t get me wrong I like him but he really needs to rethink his productions for himself and stop being lazy. I like anyone who’s creative with their videos though (i.e. recently Ciara) and this one is hot. I like Cassie and her appearance here despite what everyone else says…

I love Daft Punk, hate this Kanye song though. The video is creative but there was something lacking. I’m just not feeling Kanye right now…but the best of luck to him.

The video itself is influenced by the Japanese animated movie, 1988′s Akira. I must admit, the imagery and music, and of course Cassie made the video and the song just a bit hotter…

I know that I am always like damn I wonder who shit he gonna sample next and when I buy his CD I can’t wait to see what old old skool shit he has come up with. I just think the dude is innovative – take something old and put a new spin on it…I like it. Then he takes shit that no other artist would touch! I love it.

That video did NOTHING for me. Different doesn’t always equal to dope, but to each his own. The song doesn’t cut it either, although I actually like Daft Punk a lot. This is just wack son, just wack. And the “exploding man” thing reminded me of HEROES.
