Beautiful voice, sexy female, nice song BUT……the video is SOOOOOOO extra ordinary. Very plain. The neck up shots where killing me. Come on!!! We know she’s a plus size girl, but the far away shots makes it obvious that the industry will NOT accept thick’ems. I hate that cause Chrisette is what the industry needs. They styled her wrong too. White folks will say she looks like Jeniffer Hudson. It seems like the director tried to do a Lisa Fisher “How Can I Ease the Pain” (shouts out to the 25 & up!!!!!), however it did not work. The camera needed tighter shots. Therefore, the song will not do good cause the video is garbage. I still love Chrisette and will buy her joint.
Loving her voice. You guys are right, they should promote more of her talent rather than Rihanna and Beyonce so much, but you know all the money is coming from those two and thats all Def Jam cares about, plus they have more marketable images.
