This video is very creative and beautiful, but I just can’t understand why the girl in the video is standing there in her bra and panties while John is fully clothed… What the heck was the point of that? He just couldn’t resist having a half naked girl in the video. Well I guess I should be grateful she wasn’t poppin her butt in the camera, SMH… Oh well.

I figured we’d heard the last of T-Pain after his first cd. I didn’t think that computerized voice thing would take off, but it did. I just thought it was too much like Zapp. Anyway, can’t hate on his success. The man is on everyone’s music now.

Ok Fruity Pablo do you know how many people win best new artist & are never heard from again. So Best New Artist doesn’t mean squat to me. In terms of how widely marketed his first album was it doesn’t seem like his second was received as well. As an artist of substance you want to continue to shine album after album. I feel as though the music industry would rather see more T-Pains & Akon’s vs a John Legend. So please don’t start!

The beat is on point and the video is eccentric. I like it, it kind of reminds me of Common and Macy Gray’s video Geto Heaven.

I thought the John Legend video was creative, but it just lacked. . .something. The graphics were a bit redundant, but the concept matched the vibe of the song pretty well, i thought.
