Amerie should NOT be compared to Ciara, Rihanna, Ashanti, Cassie, etc because her voice definitely has strength and she either sounds the same or better when she sings live.

Now Ashanti… I remember the days when she first came out. Everyone thought she was the worst singer in existence (especially live. WHOA!), but man, she’s come a loooooong way. Her voice sounds a whole lot better than it used to, and I hope she’s improved her live voice, as well.
