Live Earth was a 24-hour, 7-continent concert series that took place yesterday, (7/7/07) and brought together more than 100 music artists and 2 billion people to trigger a global movement to solve the climate crisis.
Rihanna was out in Tokyo, Kanye & Alicia Keys were in New York, Pharrell was in Brazil, and Snoop was out in Germany. Check out the random flicks from the concert.

i thought the concert was really boring and the performers lacked energy

Everybody picks on Kanye, but he said “he loved those shades and had them custom made” and he is an entertainer, and he is entertaining us with those shades. He loves to be different. Those shades are nothing new in his persona; now if we would ignore him and not comment on his clothes and stuff he might act differently. Kanye is about Kanye, and he love attention and we love giving it to him. I like the young brother though. He looks cool!

What’s wrong with rocking long hair? They’re entertainers, of course they’re going to change it up. Just because you cut your hair doesn’t mean it will never grow back, or you can’t put some extensions in I think some of yall suffer from serious self-esteem issues.
I think Alicia looks nice, minus the stockings (I don’t understand this trend of summer dresses and stockings – not cool:/). As far as the lesbian rumors, she been battling that since she first came out. So her feminine looks has nothing to do with that.

That was an amazing, mind-blowing event. We all should be more environmentally conscious, because this earth is our mother(my parents were hippieish lol) and we have to treat her with respect.
1. I can’t look at A. Keys anymore without thinking of that damned blind item about a lesbian singer. I tried so hard to just focus on her performances but my head was like, “bitch is totally gay…bitch is SO gay!” Just playin lol! Damn you Myra Panache!!!!
2. Rihanna usually looks on point but that black suit is a huge no-no. I agree the pic is extremely unflattering, makes her look like she had two breakfast samplers from IHOP before getting on stage.
3. I loved Linkin Park, Chester always goes hard.

rihanna looked great on the stage. she performed 11 songs includin her mega hits. i watched it, to me she seemed so tired in some of the songs she performed but i thought she was okay but she seriously need vocal trainin.

Oh, Rihanna’s performance was TERRIBLE. Oh God, i didnt know the poor thing was that bad on stage cause ive never really seen her do a stage performance but she was AWFUL. She was out of breath most of the time, she sang WAY too low on some of the notes and no one in the audience moved. (over here talkin about DJ turn the music up when we cant even hear her damn voice. People just stood there watching her weak stage presence.
Whats sad is that her background singers, particularly one of them, oversang her the ENTIRE time to make up for what she lacked. And yea, Rihanna was lackin a WHOLE LOT.
IF this is what her performances are like, please i advise everyone to stay away from buying tickets to her shows. U wont be entertained.

I missed the South African leg of the live earth concerts. Joss Stone, UB40, Baaba Maal, Angelique Kidjoe and Soweto Gospel Choir (proud of them for winning a Grammy earlier this year) apparently tore the house down.
