The Annual Essence Music Festival has began and its back in New Orleans after the Hurricane Katrina disaster put a halt on it last year. Last night’s headliners included Ciara, Ludacris, and Ronald Isley along with guest speaker Barack Obama.
The festival will continue today and Saturday with performances coming from Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Robin Thicke, Kelly Rowland and many more.

I have been to this event a couple of times prior to Katrina in NewOrleans! Its a great event/festival. Aside from the celebrity performances they have great seminars and its kinda like a good place to networkand support not only the local businesses in Neworleans but the black business owners from allover the world who attend! Im very sorry that I had to miss it this year.Im sure that its great!
