The Annual Essence Music Festival has began and its back in New Orleans after the Hurricane Katrina disaster put a halt on it last year. Last night’s headliners included Ciara, Ludacris, and Ronald Isley along with guest speaker Barack Obama.
The festival will continue today and Saturday with performances coming from Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Robin Thicke, Kelly Rowland and many more.
I definitely have a small crush on Barack Obama…Malik Yoba is still superr handsome…and I wanna have a happy marriage like Chante Moore and Kenny Latimore…black love is one of the most beaufitul things in the world.
The matrix is apart of Ci’s dance routine!!! Let her do it!!! Ev’body looks great and it looked like fun!!!!

People, when ciara does the matrix move that is part of the like a boy performance. You know if you went to her show and she didn’t do that move during that song you would be like “where is the matrix?” It’s not old its just part of her show. I have been to one of her concerts and she puts on a hell of a good show.

I was there, It was great..I will be back..Ciara’s performance was horrible..
I saw Ciara in concert for the kids’ spring break earlier this year (b/c I got a free ticket) and expected to be knocked out but she didn’t bring it. She seemed like she expected the kids to go all ape-sh*& for her and her routine bored me. I’ve usually liked her performances in the past but she was on some wack Bobby Brown oversexed stuff (at a concert for the KIDS–there were school kids young as 6 there), moaning, humping and grinding on the floor. If I see the matrix move one more time I might scream! Some of the kids even sat down. She can dance but the whole arrogance over the BET list was overkill. Imagine what # Aaliyah (RIP) would have been. Even if it wasn’t high, I doubt she would have been so unnecessarily cocky. Confidence trumps cockiness.
CIARA IS NOT DOING THE MATRIX IN THAT ROUTINE, IT PART OF 1 , 2 STEP AND THE CROWD CHEERS GO CICI GO AND SHE GOES INTO A SPIN AND FALL ON HER BACK..
