“I lived for Dior until Hedi Slimane left. So I’m gonna see what he comes out with.”

okay from the looks of these photos i am not too impressed with alexis’s style.
hip-hop incorporated the art of braggadocio and storytelling since long before half of these 80′s babies were born. i can’t hate kanye for doing what he does. he rhymes tight; he dresses decent. i could say he hangs a bit too much on them labels, but he, like i can say about many librans i know, are more so an insecure bunch than any other group. anyhow, he’s still within the [hip-hop] game limits. (note: that eye candy game is ill.)

I love Kanye, his music is always on point and there is nothing wrong with looking good. Would you rather have a man looking bummy? Exactly, appreciate the fact that he takes pride in making sure he looks fresh. && I don’t see him as cocky. Kanye knows he makes good music, he’s doing nothing but defending that. TI did the same thing with the ‘best rap album’ saying he deserved it more than Luda, nobody had a problem with that so why should you with Kanye? Anyways him && his lady look fly in the magazine.

I like the fact that Kanye is bringing something different to the table, but I cant stand his a**. My friend met him in person and said she was honored to meet him. I used to love Kanye. Being from Chicago, I heard his stuff before it became big nationally. His rhymes used to be more about the inequalities and hypocrites that surround us…and now they’re about how hot he is, how everyone hates him, blah blah blah.
What really turned me off to him though, was this quote:

Kanye West is perhaps one of the most original, thought provoking artists of his time. I believe that Kanye is a lot of the reason why intelligent people are interested in Hip – Hop again. The brother has a way with words that makes you really think even, if you only end up a little confused. The best thing about him is that he is original, he is not trying to be anyone else nor does have to make an effort to distinguish himself rom other artists, he simply is different. Yes he has said a few things that I have found obnoxious or even offensive but I appreciate the fact that he attempts to be a complete artist. It does not hurt that he is sexy either.

Kanye style of dress is creative.I’m not exactly feeling it but its different and its good to have a unique style in an industry oversaturated by everyone following trends rather than setting trends! I personally find him to be arrogant and self absorbed ,but so are alot of of celebs.
