MTV is set to air the infamous “CHAIR THROWING” episode of Making the Band 4 next week. This is a must see!
Back in May, we told you about the complaint Laurie Ann Gibson filed against Diddy, because she claimed he threw a chair at her. Gibson said two men (Celebrity guest judge Michael Bivens & Diddy) started yelling and cursing at her when she told them the dancers had been given only a day to practice in order to see what they would do in a crunch.
Bivins then allegedly grabbed her while Diddy picked up a chair and threatened her. She said she broke free, tried to run and Bivins allegedly grabbed her once again. Then she left, the complaint stated.
Well Laurie Ann spoke to Wendy Williams earlier this week about her upcoming reality show, the tell all book, and the Diddy incident. Make sure you check out the audio above.

Bottom line. LA is a drama queen. Diddy is a bitch. People will watch the episode one way or another regardless. And if a book comes out, a lot of people will buy it.

The whole Laurie Ann thing sounds a bit suspect to me. I watched the show Monday and from what I remembered since the beginning of the show this season, LA was trying hard to be in the spotlight. If you remember, when Diddy announced his team to the contestants LA was the last to be announced and she was given the spotlight. If I remember it correctly, she had on sunglasses and a fur coat (or something like it)…eventhough they were indoors filming at night…??!! She also made the coment on Monday’s show that if she weren’t there, there would be no show. I highly doubt that!!!
She became quite the DIVA since her humble beginnings from MTB3. Just like Aubry’s (of Danity Kane) transformation from Season 1 of MTB3 to Season 2 of MTB3. They believed the hype and “their ugly came out”!!! As for LA’s singing career…GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!!!!!! I also hope she doesn’t burn any bridges with her “tell all” book. I wonder if she’s doing all this because her newfound antics have cost her gigs and people are a little leary of working with her fearing that they may be portrayed as a fellow lunatic or have their private lives/secrets spelled out in a future “tell all”? Who knows? I hope all this “hoopin’ and hollerin’” gets her somewhere. If not, ……….

The way it seemed to me is that his assistant messed up, but then we don’t get to see everything as they always edit things out. But I wish Laurie Ann the best of luck. It’;s about time somebody stands up to him.

After seeing the episode, seems like Ms. Thang was a little to DIVA for the show.
She is not in charge of setting up challenges, it isn’t her money on the line.
If I were a contestant, I would have felt cheated by her decision to teach me a routine in 8 hours.
Not supporting the way he went about it, but she was pushing the envelope a few times. And she pushed through quite a few busters like the church boy, he’s terrible!
The only thing that disturbed me about the whole thing is that in life we need a team 2 make ne project or thing successful and P.Diddy tends 2 remind the people around him constantly that he is the H.N.I.C.
My philosophy is that a true leader knows that his success hinges on the team he/she surrounds himself/herself with!!
He can’t make a band without talented people that want to MAKE THE BAND! So why treat them like shit!!!
People will work hard and be productive when you make them feel appreciated! And that’s what i think went wrong in this incedent between P.Diddy & Laurie Anne. I don’t know about you but even when i’m wrong, as an adult, there is a way you address me!! If i were Laurie Anne i woulda threw the muthafuckin chair!!

I find it very interesting that everyone is jumping on the Laurie Ann band wagon when all they heard was one side of the story. There are three sides to any story his side her side and the truth. This incident happened in April and she supposedly filed charges in May. If someone threw a chair at me I would get the cops involved the same day not weeks later. No one even heard of Laurie Ann Gibson until Makin the Band and don’t you find it very interesting now she has a tell all book in the works and a television show. I don’t know about you but I smell a publicity stunt. Think about what she is saying in her account of what happened. Mike Bivens held her twice while the chair was thrown at her. How does that sound. Now wasn’t there other people in the room, the execs from MTV Diddy’s crew and not one person stopped it they just looked on. Please sell it to someone else Laurie Ann. Only the people in that room and God knows what happened in that room.
first of all, laurie ann was acting like a true diva. talkin bout some “the show would be nothing without me.” while she is a talented choreographer, she is not diddy and can be replaced easily. she was supposed to be rehearsing with the boys the entire weekend but instead, she only gave them 8 hours of her precious time and diddy was mad because he said he it wasn’t fair for the boys to have to learn that dance that soon. so everyone’s getting mad at diddy when all he did was raise his voice a little. and bivins was only trying to calm her down so she needs to go somewhere with her exaggerating self. she thinks she’s big cuz she got a show comin out but the same ones on her side right now are gonna be the ones puttin her down worse than cassie when they find out she can’t sing

I did not watch any of the Making the Band shows before this season. I am not a Bad Boy or Diddy fan. The “boy band” thing is played out. None of the other supposed “bands” did anything. MTV must be making money off this or they would have shut it down. The guys can hope someone will see them and offer them something after the show ends.
My two cents on Laurie Ann and Diddy. Publicity stunt all the way! She was giving lip as good as she was getting. She thought she was the star of the show and had creative input to the weak plot of the episodes. Laurie Ann is attractive, talented, and knows she is marketable. Diddy appeared to blow his top when Laurie Ann insisted she was right and he was wrong. He said he asked her to work with the guys all weekend. Someone off camera said that day was the first day they could book Laurie Ann. That is no problem because Diddy further said he told them to get another choreographer.
Someone dropped the ball by not calling in someone else to work with the guys. Laurie Ann decided she would add her own hurdle for the guys to jump over. Diddy did not seem to appreciate her calling the shots. It is his mess of a show and he calls the shots. LA will be the exact same way on her own reality show.
Michael Bivens must have lost of all his New Edition money along with his common sense. He gets a deer in the headlights look whenever Diddy expresses disappointment. MB starts clapping and rises to his feet when he sees Diddy, announces Diddy’s entrances, and basically looks like a flunky. HIs self-esteem must be in the gutter regardless of how much Diddy or MTV are paying him.
Diddy is laughing all the way to the bank.
I agree with Laurie Ann, eventhough she seems crazy at times. Diddy thinks people should kiss his ass because he feels thats his show. And for Michael Bivens to tell her she has to respect Diddy, was stupid. You respect people who gives respect. If Michael wants to lick up behind Diddy then thats him but he shouldn’t expect people to take that off of Diddy. She doesn’t need Diddy anymore, she has her own show coming out and I will be watching.
I’m not taking sides for either of them because in my opinion they were both in the wrong. Yes Diddy should not have thrown a chair at her or talk to her the ways he does but on the other side she is was getiing paid by him and she was given a task that she didn’t follow through with which is what the show is all about. Both of their reactions after the fact were out of hand but its just like the working world, if your boss ask you to do something and you don’t follow through without prior notice you have to face the consequences. Yes they should have been more mature about it talked it out and settled it like adults but their personalities have clashed to a point where even that would have been difficult.

I used to defend Diddy for YEARS. Wow. I cannot even defend him anymore. It’s time I throw him out to the wolves for breaking the LOYALTY code.

It was sad to see Loraine leave the show, she brought spunk, energy and style to a very male dominated high testosterone show. Many of my friends tuned in each week to see what she was going to say, and what she had on. The show cast Diddy as an untouchable God, where as he can not be spoken to but he can tell people to shut the fuck up, and they are suppose to take it like a child. It was interesting looking at the interaction between Loraine and Diddy. Somehow I can’t help wonder if the interaction between the two is indicative to why major artist who are looking to change record companies don’t sign with bad boys or why so many have left. It very sad to see here leave the show, however it will be exciting to see if she creates her own.
