Star Jones Reynolds has avoided questions about her dramatic weight loss for years, saying only that she had undergone a medical intervention. That intervention, it turns out, was gastric bypass surgery.
Reynolds, 45, says she was “intentionally evasive” when people asked how she’d dropped 160 pounds in three years. She had gastric bypass surgery in August 2003.
She writes about her weight loss in a first-person essay in the September issue of Glamour magazine, on newsstands Aug. 7.
Everything about me was already so public (mostly my own doing — talk about dumb!), so of course everyone wanted to know what I had done. I was also terrified someone would have a tragic result after emulating me without making an informed decision with her doctor.
But the complete truth is, I was scared of what people might think of me,” she continues. “I was afraid to be vulnerable, and ashamed at not being able to get myself under control without this procedure.”
I mean all knew she had it, so this isn’t really news - but whatever. All I know is that it worked for her, because she looks great right now. She just needs to stay away from the bikini’s.

Here go Eve’s newest video featuring Sean Paul for the song “Give It To You.” Her new album is expected to hit stores on September 18th. I’m assuming it was pushed back due to the KanYe West vs. 50 Cent showdown on September 11th.
No word on our supposed interview with her, but we’ll keep you posted.

Michael Vick has been the recipient of ridicule and wide spread outcry for the dog fighting charges he has been hit with. If you’ve been under a rock somewhere, than you might not know about this.
Beginning on April 25, 2007, widespread media publicity was drawn by discovery of evidence of unlawful dog fighting activities at a property he owns in a rural county in southeastern Virginia. On July 17, 2007, Vick and three other men were indicted by a federal grand jury for felony and misdemeanor charges involving a 6-year long interstate dog fighting venture called “Bad Newz Kennels” and tens of thousands of dollars in gambling activities.
He went on V-103 today and spoke to Porsche Foxx about what’s been going down and why he loves his fans.
“I put my faith in the man upstairs…I know it’s light at the end of the tunnel”
“I know I put the city through a lot. Under the right circumstances…If I had that opportunity I would love to come back”
“To all of my ATL fans I love ya’ll and I hope to see ya’ll again that remains to be unseen but I’m working on it” [SOURCE]
Thanx to Sandra Rose for the audio!
