Fantasia feat. Polow & Young Jeezy - When I See U (rmx) (full) - download
I love this song, I love Polow Da Don - but this remix doesn’t suit this song at all. I just feel like this is a beautiful song and the remix kind of cheapens it a little bit. I think that Polow’s production is great, but just not for the feel of this song. I can’t put my finger on it, but there was something that just bothered me about it when I first heard this remix on the radio. I think they just took a beautiful song and tried to turn it into a club banger.
Lil’ Mama - G-Slide Tour Bus (full) - download
Classic use of nursery rhyme in a rap song. I’m sorry, I don’t know what it is that Lil’ Mama has, but she’s got something that just grips me and makes me wanna listen. I think it’s because she’s got so much personality and character, and her voice kind of just commands the song. I don’t even know what she’s talking about, and I don’t even care, but something about her to me just goes hard. I like her. Regardless of how corny and gimmicky people think she is.

Check it. Kid Sister is my new obsession, so I had to show her love on the blog. She is an Illinois native and currently resides in Chicago’s north side. According to her she “makes club rap and works at a children’s clothing store slanging bibs and teething rings.” Her brother, J2K of Flosstradamus is her DJ and together they make a dope combination.
I was actually introduced to her music when Kanye featured her song, “Pro Nails” on his newest mixtape, Can’t Tell Me Nothing. Homegirl has madd style and I love it. I’m probably late as hell catching on to her sound, but hey, that’s better than never!
Currently, she is working on her debut album and word is she is going to be performing at the L.A. Neighborhoods Festival on September 29th. So make sure you look out for her music in the future and if you haven’t been bumping “Pro Nails”, what you smoking?
For more info & music from KID SISTER, make sure to check her myspace page!

That’s the question that I asked myself when I was getting my daily dose of Page six gossip. Apparently they are a rumored new couple. Damn! Nicole’s game must be crazy. Watch her jack Strahan for his other 16 million!
Shopping Sunday at the Barneys Co-op store in Chelsea, Strahan shelled out about $700 for a few pairs of Prada shoes while his paramour purchased dresses and tops with $1,400 of her own cash. Shop employees also told The Post’s John Mazor the pair definitely looked like a couple. [SOURCE]
If you want to get updated on Nicole Murphy and Michael Strahan’s recent run-ins with goosip blogs, you better read more after the jump!

Beyonce took a hard fall down a flight of stairs while performing in Orlando, FL last night. Word is, she was performing “Ring The Alarm” and amongst going down the steps on stage, she took a fall head first.
What’s even more crazy is that she bounced right back up and kept performing even harder, even though she reportedly suffered a few bruises. Now thats what you call a true performer, hope homegirl is alright!

Looks like those who protested against BET’s “HOT GHETTO MESS” made some changes, name changes that is.
BET’s provocatively titled “Hot Ghetto Mess,” which drew sharp criticism and overshadowed the rest of the cable channel’s new schedule, is getting an upbeat new name. “We Got to Do Better” is the title the series will have when it debuts, BET spokeswoman Jeanine Liburd told The Associated Press on Monday.
“We’ve decided to change the name because we want to highlight the show’s real intent, which is to offer social commentary in a context that sparks dialogue, debate, and most importantly, change,” BET said in a statement. [READ MORE]
