Rihanna is featured on a double cover of the upcoming Vibe Vixen issue. This girl is just killing it with this style of hers, first those fly brass knuckle boots – now this. She was styled by Liza Montoya along with fashion market editor, Dorcia Kelley for this shoot.

Damn Rhianna is the business! I dig her style completely! She should come out with a clothing line because her style is fierce! Get Rhianna!

MUSIC IS NOT HER THING. I WISH SHE WOULD JUST BECOME A MODEL. SHE HAS NO TALENT BESIDES LOOKING GOOD. SOMEONE CREATED THAT VIDEO, SOMEBODY WROTE THAT SONG, SOMEBODY PRODUCED THE SONG, SOMEBODY PUT TOGETHER THAT OUTFIT..I WOULD CONSIDER THAT WHINING NOT SINGING AND CLEARLY SHE CAN’T DANCE. SHE’S NOT A MUSICIAN/ARTIST SHE’S JUST ANOTHER PUT TOGETHER PACKAGE THE RECORD LABEL PUMPED OUT. AND NO I’M NOT HATING THAT’S JUST THE TRUTH. I TRIED TO WARM UP TO HER, BUT UMBRELLA HAS BEEN HER BIGGEST AND ONLY HIT DURING THE COURSE OF 3 ALBUMS! SO WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU.

  3. I liked her better in her dancehall days. She was aggravating back then too, but at least she seemed more true to herself.

Poor girl let Jay turn her into a mini-Bee.

But she’s getttin that money…so on to the next post.

why do people think that she’s so beautiful?

  5. bereal

I am happy for her. Something different. Dont nobody want to keep hearing th same old ass beats. Embrace the sista instead of putting her down.

    I agree with # 78.

  7. 176 & 177 are one of the few sane, rational posters in this thread. When did rhetoric and genuine criticism slide under the umbrella of “hating”? I’d like to see some of you people use that term in a classroom during a discussion. SMH

They just don’t get it NoirFemme.

Lol, and it’s funny how me thinking she should drop singing because she sucks at it and encouraging her to model because she’s awesome at it is being envious and a hater. How that is possible, I’ll never know. Must be a Stan thing.

Lol, and 180 she don’t have to care about me because I ain’t the one putting money in her pocket and don’t ever plan to. She won’t be able to buy any rubber leotards on my dime.

  9. I kinda do wanna say that the whole Rihanna thing is overkill but this chick is doing her thing. It ain’t even about her voice becuz come on *it’s not Whitney pre-Bobby*, now it’s just more about her image and what she brings to the table style wise and YES SHE IS KILLIN” IT!

We can’t front. We just can’t…..

And if she’s writing her own treatments for her videos like her 2 latest then we can probably expect this chick to be just as big as Beyonce as she and her career progresses.

Let’s just hope she doesn’t get sucked into that white Hollywood bullshit….

Number 21, Hassan. You hit that right on the mark! You damn right she’s catering to the white audience. The majority of people who buy the records whether Urban or POP music is white people. Hell, it’s a business, the bitch got bills to pay! I understand that plus that but i don’t think that business is all it had to do with it. She is part White from what i hear and that’s just the type of music I think she enjoys singing. She said she loves rock. I don’t got know problem with that, I’m into all types of music too. But what i did notice was she basically ditched her island music and persona, used a bunch of samples from other peoples music like michael jackson and the “say it” joint was a sample from the carribean rap song “FLEX”, became a mixture between fergie and beyonce(she made an attempt to rap yall!) “lemme get that, breakin dishes”, I even heard her accent try to leave on a couple of em and she went “slutgothic” She is everywhere. I have no problem with her success and all but honestly I’ve O.D.’d on her too. She’s overrated big time!

I will say one thing and that is she has Beyonce by a long run in the personality department. Her interviews aren’t so computerized like she’s being programed to say three phrases only, she speaks on her opinions and she doesn’t try to answer questions so politically correct. She just lets her real thoughts flow. I do like that about her. see ya’ll I don’t hate Rihanna, not hatin on her. I’m just speakin the real on how I feel and not to be ugly but for what it really is. You put yourself outside now be prepared for the weather cuz whether it’s rain or shine it is what is is and you can’t change it. And I’ll say how I feel about anyone whether everyday person or celebrity.
