Queen Latifah took her longtime ‘gal pal’ Jeanette Jenkins as her date to the new York City premiere of Hairspray last week. Jenkins is a Hollywood trainer and has been “friends” with Latifah for awhile.
Anyway, while they were walking down the red carpet, Sister 2 Sister magazine editor Jamie Foster Brown asked Jeanette if she had a boyfriend:
“Do you have a boyfriend?,” asked a serious Jamie. “I’m in a relationship. I have been for a long time,” Jeanette stammered before beating a hasty retreat down the red carpet. [SOURCE]
I’m sure y’all remember that rumor that went around last year too. Jeanette and Latifah allegedly had a heated argument and then Jeanette said she was going to go to the media about their relationship. I guess they worked everything out. As far as Usher, my concern for him is that it’s hard having a relationship with someone who has kids with someone else. Celebrity or not. On top of the fact that being a celebrity is hard. I think that’s why so many expected him to be with someone “in the business”. Someone who would understand the “politics” of the business, the good and the bad.
