Queen Latifah took her longtime ‘gal pal’ Jeanette Jenkins as her date to the new York City premiere of Hairspray last week. Jenkins is a Hollywood trainer and has been “friends” with Latifah for awhile.
Anyway, while they were walking down the red carpet, Sister 2 Sister magazine editor Jamie Foster Brown asked Jeanette if she had a boyfriend:
“Do you have a boyfriend?,” asked a serious Jamie. “I’m in a relationship. I have been for a long time,” Jeanette stammered before beating a hasty retreat down the red carpet. [SOURCE]
I’m sure y’all remember that rumor that went around last year too. Jeanette and Latifah allegedly had a heated argument and then Jeanette said she was going to go to the media about their relationship. I guess they worked everything out. Someone, I think #52, said she hates Tameka because she was pregnant before he started dating her. If that was the case, the baby would be here already. According to Ms. Foster, she and Usher started dating in December 2005. But no one really knew it because she was his stylist and she would be seen with him anyhow.
