I read the entire article on glamour.com and once you read it you will understand where Star is coming from. She never really denied it, she just said a “medical intervention.” After reading her article, I have more respect for her and I applaud her for the decision she felt that she had to make. I would say read her words for yourself before judging.

Her story mirrors many who struggle with self-worth and weight issues. Give a sista a brake, ya’ll. You know what, I’m sorry, I LOVE me some Star Jones, but she looks horrible. The only problem with her in picture one in my mind was perhaps she had experienced health problems due to her weight. Other than that, she was not a bad looking woman at all. In pic 2, she looks old and sickly. That is an example of how every size is not for everybody. I also wish she had lost the weight naturally because perhaps her new found size would have suited her body frame, but……man…
