Easily one of my favorite club bangers out now, I’m glad they took “Tambourine” to the next level, because although I think it’s loved by many a DJ doing a Swizz Beatz mix (complete with “Get Me Bodied,” “Bring ‘Em Out” and “It’s Me, Snitches!”), I don’t think it got as much love as it should have. Hopefully with this remix, it’ll get the play that it needs, even though Eve is pushing the new single with Sean Paul.

Somebody please explain to me why the Black Eyed Peas broke up? Because individually, I feel like Will.I.Am and Fergie’s music both sound exactly the same as when they were together. It’s almost a little embarrassing. Even though this says Nicole (from PCD), it still sounds like Fergie to me. Maybe I’m just a hater, but I think they were just better off together - even though Fergie’s The Dutchess did have a nice run on the charts for a while with some successful singles. Will.I.Am’s rap at the end is kinda funny though.

I hope that Chris Brown doesn’t fall into the “I’mma Flirt” trap, because if that were to happen, I think I’d just die. I understand that T-Pain is what’s up, but goodness gracious, if he or R. Kelly pollute anybody else, I think I might roll over and die. I’m not really mad at this song, though. Chris still stays age appropriate. He’s just such a kid to me. I just don’t want to end up being mad at him because I’m actually a fan. It looks from his material, though, that Chris will be avoiding the dreaded sophomore slump.

Just decided to post this up for anyone who didn’t have it. A couple of days ago, Tianna posted this new video from Rihanna, which I thought was rather boring and doesn’t do the song any justice. I was surprised to see that they actually premiered it on 106 & Park, considering that it doesn’t seem “urban” friendly to me. “Please Don’t Stop the Music,” however, is a great dance song. Heard it in the club last night and it really went off. It was quite interesting.
